here here all you, who claimed this game would never come out. After the conference in Athens, details have surfaces that player beta will open in a few weeks, followed by open beta, which is due to complete in early december.

Darkfall will spank all other MMOS' back to the stone age. :D

You know, it just blows my mind that a company is seriously planning to release an MMO with about 2-3 months of beta testing, including the closed beta.

How can the game possibly launch without tons of broken content?  What happens when testers come back saying a specific system just isn't fun?

Sorry, but the more I see, the more inclined I am to take a "wait and see" approach with this game.  It's one that's going to have to be on the market for about six months before I even think about buying it.  I didn't enjoy paying to beta test Age of Conan, and I'm certainly not about to put myself in that position again with Darkfall.

People like to forget that closed beta has been going on for a good while.  Open beta is mainly a stress test and to catch things that may have been missed durring other phases. I think everyone should take a "wait and see" approach with any game. And you can wait 6 months if you want but you won't have to pay to beta test like many of us did for AoC considering Aventurine wants people to try it for free before ever spending money on it.

$$$OE$$$
"We got your game"
(and we screwed it)

Yes because they know they will not find anything unexpected to fix in beta. I won't go into why is that so.

As usual..PROMISES PROMISES......then another delay, oops we need more time.......PROMISES, PROMISES....Oops.........and yet another year or 2 goes by....promises etc.......

I still can't find anyone who knows anyone who may know someone who has actually tried this frigging game besides the small little Computer Shows they go to!  WTF?  Please  stop promising and at least let someone try it out so we can get actual feedback form the gamers (minus the NDA)........it just looks so much like Vap.......NO!  Not quite ready to claim that yet!

I really want this  game to succeed and do well but my patience and so many dissapoiting MMOs with all their PROMISES have let me down way to many times before.............Come ON let's see some real gamers play the game for pete's sakes!

Its worse to actually think about doing something then actually doing it!!!

/paid to beta test AoC. im guilty and i hang my head in shame. stop worrying about when this game is coming out. move on to something else or go play something else and forget about it. when it does finally hit the shelves you will be pleasantly surprised.

More to come:

The fan who attended the conference will be posting a video with all the important parts subbed (it will be in greek) at some point over the weekend. Wait to draw your own conclusions then.

I am a skeptical supporter of DF. I am not a fanboi nor a troll. I seek the truth in every discussion, and I am truly sorry if I mistakenly state a fallacy.
