Hey folks. I play AoC and just created an account here to talk about AoC. I've heard that very few of the posters here actually play the game, so I thought why not make a poll. Bear with me even though I'm a MMORPG Noob . Also please comment on what other games you play.

I like the game and find its only getting better, take update 3 that is coming this is going to be a huge lift for the game.

The point is I think we all 'played' the game and some of us still have accounts but don't play.

I still have an active account with Warhammer, but don't play anymore.  I have an account with WOW (4yrs), I've plaed AC for a year, UO for 5 years, Earth and Beyond for a year.

i stopped shortly after launch, the game was in abysmal shape, giving a 2nd go again now.

Its still going?

Is it safe to say to that you also post on the AoC forums? Many of us still have active accounts, so it would be nice to throw you a PM now and again on the official forums!

wrgpost directed a few of us here because a lot of people come to this site to see whats going on with a game such as AoC, but a lot of troll exist here that haven't played the game for months and still bash as if it has not improved at all. I read some of the post here before his post, but felt that I had to counter troll a little bit because the game has gotten a lot better and contnues to grow with each new patch.

Sorry but this is just another attempt to discredit and is ultimatly pointless due to the annonyomous nature of polls here. It's a safe bet that the activist fanboys here who are trying to discredit people voted that they havn't played since launch, this of course isn't something confined to one side of the arguement both groups of people do it as we saw with all the 1's and 10's on the how do you rate AoC poll.

I wonder if mods can see who voted for what, would be a great way to tidy up the forums, anyone with a failcom avatar who posted they still play ban them, anyone of the fanbois posting they havn't played since launch ban them. Maybe then we could see just people who will give their honest view left.

The you quit a couple of months ago so you can't comment on the game isn't at all valid, it's still the same game while some of the changes have been decent they have not in anyway changed the face of the game. These are the main improvements over the last 3 months

Low/Mid level dungeons have been revamped - they are nice now but this part of the game should never have been a high priority fix and good luck getting groups for these dungeons if you arn't on the top 4 servers.

Some more voice acting has been added - I love the voice acted quests but after tortage it's still the case that the vast vast majority of them are not voice acted, dispite the additions you will still get that jarring feeling when you leave tortage. A few more quests have been added

PvP xp and pvp armor has been added - the only real significant addition, but what they did was nerf all the armor people were wearing and then say now go pvp and earn some new armor that isn't even as good as what you had, the current pvp system has just resulted in people kill trading and other than for the first few days hasn't significantly increased proper pvp as intended, minigames are more popular now though. Just as the duping cheaters prospered before with funcom to scared to deal with it the same is true now with kill tradeing.

There has been quite a few bug fixes and stability improvements - nice but difficult to know how much is improved and how much is just the people with problems not playing anymore.

pvp balance has improved from ludicrously bad to just bad and now they are looking to dumb down the combat system that is the one thing that sets the game apart.

If you quit the game because the instanced and tiny world gave no immersion thats the same, if you quit the game because rolling an alt gave you almost the exact same experience a second time thats the same, if you quit the game because the game just has little to do and is no fun at endgame outside of an occasional seige thats the same,

If funcom adds a real meaningful pvp system with more reasons to pvp then you can come back and say hey you need to try the game again before you can fairly comment but that isn't true at the moment, it's still an extreamly similar game with the majority of the same flaws and the lack of population on the majority of the servers mean you could easily end up having even less fun than the first time.
