Just heard about the 750K+ accounts created in WAR. You gotta love the fuzzy marketing math.

Well, I have preordered the game, got into the headstart, created the account, found the game uninspiring and never condsidered buying it.

did they count me into the 750K+?

You can either agree with me or be wrong!

If you created an account then yes. That's why the number doesn't mean much. Or at least, it's not a 100% accurate. (doubt the number of those situations you subscribed isn't covered by the + by now so it's safe to say 750K was sold by now probably)

You're asking a question even though it appears you have assumed the answer already.

If you're going to make a point, have a point to make. If it does include the pre-orders, the play on words covers this since they are talking about "accounts created" no box sales.

If you want to know if they counted the pre-order accounts in with their box sales, well then you'd just have to wait and see if they come up short in their earnings call; because a lie like that is one you can't hide.

Seems easy to hid imo. I doubt the number of extra preorder codes that was not used beats 20K or so (high estimate) and they probably passed 770K already, it's highly unlikely thery didn't sell an extra 20k by now. So at that point the "lie" (which it wasn't) is covered already.

To live free is worth dying for.

I'm going to say no, you are not important.

Says the guy who's entire post history consist of bashing WAR and hyping AOC hmmmm.  The fact that your profile says that you're 61 is just priceless, I thought all the guys that spent their time trying to drive people away from a game to come to their failing game were usually children, I learned something today lol.  Seriously WAR didn't live up to your "standards" but the walking pile of shit know as AOC did.  The total lack of a underlying reason to pvp never got to you? the gankfest and sophomoric community didn't get to you?  At any rate enjoy that sinking ship I'll be  over here in WAR enjoying PVP that actually matters at least a bit and gasp, allows me to make progress.

Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started.

As soon as Mythic announced the headstart if you had a pre-order, I knew a ton of people were going to do this.   Check the post history on the day the Grace period expired.  There were multiple threads from people talking about not playing any more.   Not that Xfire matters, but you cold see a pretty drastic drop the day the grace period ended.

Actually the proper wording from what I have seen is "Current Subscribers" as of Sept 30. That means no, you were not counted.
