WAR (Warhammer Online)

im sure i cancelled a few weeks ago but i wanted to make sure since today is billing day...

and lo and behold ! the account website is down....lol

classy...just classy EA trying to get a few more bucks

I was going to reactivate... but it's down it's a sign for me, go back to WoW!

Double billing / unable to cancel seem to plague alot of games with crap launches. (ddo/aoc/war) But thats just my tinfoil hat talking. Umm sorta.

You aren't allowed to mention "crap MMO launches" and omit World of Warcrap.  It's internet law.

 WAR had an awesome launch... what are you talking about?

Thats how WoW got money  from me.    Stop playing it a few weeks after launch and forgot about it tried to cancel a day before they chanrged me but the account section was down.

It has shamed me ever since. I payed for a month of service. Didnt play that month so it was a waste of money.

I hope you veterans dont think less of me.

as soon as i saw another warhammer site talking about account management issues i knew at least a couple idiots would complain about it being some kind of scam. thank you OP for not letting me down.

i have a friend that forgot he had subbed to EQ1 and left it for over a year lol

Well its working now and its only 1:30 here in Colorado.   But no need for me to cancel but for those who do now you can.

The only game Ive ever had problems in canceling my sub was Face of Mankind. AoC i ended up canceling after way before the renewal so I woulnd't get charged.

True enough WoW's launch was rocky. But then again when you have a hundred thousand peeps signing up every month and for months/years on end something had to give. Most peeps today have more comp power sitting on their desks right now then what was available to WoW for their servers at start up. Most peeps were playing WoW through a modem at launch. So ya WoW had a rocky launch.  WoW was a victim of their own success. WoWs biggest flaw at launch was getting more and more equipment rolled in and config'ed.

I dont see Warhammer having those probs though.
