Well let's say you are correct and tomorrow Lucas Arts/Bioware announce a Star Wars MMO.

Yes it will be a day long remembered by me...

That we can look forward to the WoW clone with Star Wars textures which Lucas Arts will mandate out of the box.  So that the game will be nge'd before it "hits the streets".

Not exactly something worth remembering.

How many times has anyone who follows this forum noticed that pro SOE posters get away with outright flaming anyone who disagrees with the NGE?

(note that this is the veteran's refuge, which by definition is a collection of those who hate the CUNGE and who quit because of it, thus making pro NGE posts OFF TOPIC technically)

This is endemic in the MMORPG moderator program.  They have no controls over it.  Publisher mods sneak in via a "wink wink, nudge nudge" arrangement.

Playing devil's advocate:

Even if that is true, how can it be worse than the NGE?  Which is already a crappy WOW clone with shitty graphics, a combat system that doesn't work at all, with more broken stuff than working stuff, and hell, if you like the junk, only a handful of quests and instances by comparision to a game that has been out 2 years less?

Even judged against a legit purpouse built Star Wars WOW conversion it's inarguable that the NGE sucks compared to it.

So what you are saying, is that if Bioware's mission IS to make a Star Wars WOW they are to blame because they do it better than the NGE does?
