According to the devs, DF has been in closed beta since April. So why don't they have a date for open beta or the actual release of the game . 8 months is a long time. Can anyone explain that to me? Seems kind of weird to be in beta for almost 8 months and we still can't find 1 person on these forums that has played the game. Does anyone actually believe they've had NPCs and professional testers working on beta since April? |

I really think you need to post a link, so people can see you aren't just making stuff like that up. I know I think you are, I haven't heard anything about beta going on since april. Are you just talking about their own beta for proffessional testers, or on a larger scale? |

They said recently that nobody outside the company is playtesting this game. So beta hasn't started yet. They also announced that beta will end in December. So beta is going to end in a month, but they don't even know when it will start. So it looks like beta will end before it starts. Pretty crazy eh?

My slightly optimistic and probobly deluded prediction: Darkfall beta starts when WotLK goes gold. Otherwise it will probably ship with navel combat, lol. |
