Age of Conan

I was given a warning for rallying against what seemed to be a propaganda post.  Until I saw this on the main page I now do not visit the conan section of this site much if at all anymore.

Its just trouble lots of trouble.

The haters seem bound and determined to see the game fail because THEY think it should... when nothing could be further from the truth...

Most of them complain abou things that were fixed or never and Issue and are clearly ID10T errors on thier end.

Most of them expect a new MMO to run like the one they know and love (Hi WoW) which has had 4+ years to work out the SAME EXACT ISSUES they are complaining about on these new games! *gasp*

Check out the official forums if you want a pretty clear picture of the game as it is now.  That's all I'm going to say.

The title of this thread pretty much says it all, I come here every now and then for a good laugh, most of the haters seem to be gone these days. The propaganda threads are a crack-up.

Well I guess it was kind on inevitable, as FC keep knocking off issues from their todo list, it gets less and less to bitch about.

Think the reason the "haters" died down is because the game is not good enough to even hate on. You can dream that haters have magically dissappeared , the reality is , they are all just somewhere luaghing there butts off.

what more is there to hate oon ?

I dont really agree with this statement.  I think they patch in bugs every single time and after a while its like pointing out the 600lb gorilla in the room.  If you have to keep poitning it out, there is no real purpose in doing so.

The problem is that while they "knock off the issues from their to do list" and give their players less to bitch about their are always less and less players to bitch, in general.

Look at the official forums, it's like a ghost town.  Even when I quit the servers were nearly dead.  I've never seen a game flame out so quickly like this.  What a total waste of a good IP.

Hahaha......I hope that was a joke!   Hiding information and moving/deletion of rational posts speaking to issues such as the constant latency spiking that started about one month after release (making seiges and raiding unplayable for many)......is just one example.

Marky, I think some of the replies here clearly answer your questions, while others illustrate to the tee why many will never support a Funcom product again.  Funny to see some people demonstrating your point lol.

It's good to know that many are speaking to Funcom via their wallets, and I hope other MMO companies will take notice and clean up their treatment of customers and business practices in the future.   If nothing else, that is one good thing for the genre that came out of the AoC experience.
