I hope none of the big companies come anywhere near Fallen Earth. |

I think Bethesda should stick to single-player sandbox RPG's. They are good at those..they go into MMO's and they would probably not succeded very well. |

Fallout 3 is a damn fun game, but Bethesda doesn't know what polish is. |

Somehow I knew in hell there would be mushrooms. |
Fallout 3 is good for what it is and very fun, but I still think Bethesda needs to focus on quality over quantity and get some new writing talent. And no, it might sound childish but I don't want them anywhere near Fallen Earth, unless they were just handing over money for a good cause. I think Fallen Earth is in very good hands from what I've seen and read.

Yup, just a fantasy of yours!
I doubt that Icarus would sell FE. Then again, everything has a price!
Considering that FE is in alpha, that they are now inviting guilds and clan to apply for the beta, i doubt that they would sell since they are possibly near a beta in the coming year and subsequent release.

"Funny how they call the award "Game of the Year" what they compare them to is the main reasoning." |
I doubt Bethesda would get involved with the game honestly. From what I hear they are planning Fallout 4. Following up on a Reuters report that suggested Bethesda could release Fallout 4 in 2011, marketing VP Pete Hines has labeled the speculation as "jumping to conclusions, and then some." "An accurate headline would probably be, 'Fallout 4 before 2018,' since that's what he really said (10 years is too long)," Hines explained to Edge Online. http://www.edge-online.com/news/fallout-4-three-years But an online version is indeed planned by Interplay called "V13" (Vault 13 get it?) you can read more on it here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Project_V13_FAQ Here is the most important bit of info from that webpage Is Fallout Online really in development? The game has not been announced yet, however, Interplay has licensed the rights to a Fallout MMORPG from Bethesda and hired Jason Anderson and Chris Taylor, two of the creators of Fallout, to work on an unannounced MMORPG project, and since Interplay is working on only one MMO project, the project being Fallout Online is a pretty safe bet. Excited...well, yes and no. I am playing FO3 (Fallout 3) and, I know the fanboys will hate me for this, the Bethesda version, while it is fun, does not stay true to the Fallout 1 and 2 series. There is a game coming next year called Borderlands (I hear is multiplayer) that is MadMax-ish and should be a tingling delight. It claims some of the widest variety of weapons and armor that I feel should be available in FO3. While Bethesda made a great game of FO3, they fell short on many things, and I would hope that they correct these in FO4. As for buying another game and converting it to Bethesda standards, good luck. They seem to be stuck on "Old Faithful" Gamebryo engine they used since Morrowind. Hope they use the same, else, probably not going to happen. I love Bethesda's work and have bought most of the games starting in the Elder Scrolls, but I would love to see them stick more to the Fallout 1 and 2 type of gaming, not Isometric, but at least incorporate more of Fallout in the game and not peg out the levels at 20. Plus they made it too easy, FO1 and FO2 weren't this easy, at the hardest level, they give you more EXP so you level faster. That tends to make things easier. Sorry that was a bit of a rant. Nonetheless, as you can see, Bethesda is busy, Interplay is busy, so V13 of FO4 for us Fallout fans. Keep your fingers crossed. I am out...time to play more FO3. |
