2 months is about right for a new character to get a blockade runner, fitted with a covops cloak. by the end of the tutorial that character will have a combat ship and enough cash to buy a simple hauler and fill it with goods, or a mining ship.

so its not a case of sitting on your hands for two months waiting for the skills to train, theres plenty of stuff to do in the meantime (and i guarantee that you'll get sidetracked (my combat char has mining barge V)). send me an evemail in game (Xennith Aldur) and ill give you some seed cash and a poke in the right direction.

once you've got your blockade runner up and running i might have a few contracts for you, it certainly seems viable in QR, ive got a few ideas for what could be easily profitable runs, and with a black ops jumpportal it should be nice and simple :)

No, they can now use the covop portal created by black ops bs, which are recon-exclusive. So the only ship classes being able to use that portal are Coverts, Bombers, Recons and now Runners. :)

the ability to jump through a cov ops jumpbridge imho is much better than the ability to be a cyno ship. this ship is perfect for moving stuff into and out of 0.0, just jumpbridge over the gatecamp :)

It's still pretty awesome. Covert cynos don't appear on Scanner.

Guess what fits into the gallenteam blockaderunner along with one day of fuel..ninja pos droppings ftw. ;)

A Prorator Transport ship can be made to carry 10,000 M3 of Cargo without insane, expensive rigs. It can fleet with a Black Ops and a Covert Ops  and move through a bridge by getting beside the Black Ops, right clicking the covert Ops and selecting Jump to player.

The Black Ops pilot needs to have a Jump Portal Generator on and the Covert need to have a Cyno field generator on. Both are covert and won't show up in local,, like the non covert kind.

Jump Drive Callibration 4 is required just to use a black Ops. Jump Drive Cal 5 is a essential if you want to use it for this traffic. JD Cal 5 will give you 5 LY range. That can get you from high sec to low sec pretty much anywhere. Once in low sec, LYs between systems is much lower. You can jump 4 systems, maybe more with a Black Ops and a Transport.

Because my main has Black Ops 5 and 2 of my alts have Cyno 5, this is one of the main features for me. It puts me in a position to move product through very dangerous space.
