Title says it all. No free gear either :((

I was always pleased the US have their patch on tuesdays and we on wednesday. I am very glad I switched servers back then in early 2005 . Shows the Europeans beat the US guys. I think the EU IT are better also.

Unless those who work for GOA

May contain nuts.

Well it balances out after the way Europe was sh*t on by GOA with their tinpot service.

Sometimes it pays to be just 1 day later at least blizzard keep up with the patching.

Best European service of any mmorpg company, might be sad, but its true.

EU servers all running all day and absolutely no problems at all.

This can mean only one thing: someone screwed it up in the good ol USA.

This was only a normal maintenance job. No patches, no upgrades to servers

... and then this happens 48 hours before the biggest expansion in MMO history.

What are the chances such a thing doesn't happen in 4 years and then just before lauch it blows in the .... database ... ???

Odd VERY odd ....

Actually, the no problems is somewhat uncorrect, Many in the EU didnt got their arena points, not about the items, rather that the arena points were not credited before maintenance and after maintenance, while some others, that didn't even played arena this week, got 700 points ....

This week there weren't arena points anymore. That was annouced already weeks ago.

Arena season ended last week, so no more points until Dec 15th.

literacy helps people. really does. not only if you had actually read what i wrote, you would see that i mentioned people getting points and not playing, but also you would have understood posts like this

http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=6751765463&sid=1

and just to make things easier for you , where is the important stuff

"Thus, Arena points will be rewarded for rated games played this week and players will be able to purchase Arena items that do not require a team or personal rating".

let me make it easier

"Thus, Arena points will be rewarded for rated games played this week "

dont take it personally. I am paid to be right, and normally am good at my job.

I am not, after making a ticket this morning got the arena points. NOt that they serve any point, but still.. were mines.

my warrior that doesnt do arena since march also got 700 points for no reason.  Also made a ticket about that.  Game master answer:

"we are aware of some problems with arena points distribution in the reckoning battlegroup and we are investigating the subject".
