I cannot understand why people compete for mobs when all they have to do is expend 0.3 calories of energy to click into a team or start one instead of fighting for one mob no less a SINGLE RAM! It's 12 midnight on the east coast and some jimmy dick is spamming away in circles so he can tag the next elemental first.

Iasked him, " dude...just team up and we';; go faster and invite others!" ..his reply, " LTP and I don't do teams."

"LTP?  Ok I'll learn to play and you can find out how to graduate from the 6th grade"

They should have minimum age servers. Also they should screen morons.

Should WOW offer moron-free servers?

Yes!
I don't know
No because morons are people too.
No because everyone playing is a moron.

Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started.

haha.. your poll made me laugh.

Blizzard really can't make the game idiot proof no matter how hard they try.   There will always be melee hunters or players that think they dont' get kill credits while in a group.

Either that or else he is just worried about getting a drop and havign to roll on it.

World of Warcraft attracts people from all walks of life... So there's a good range of different types of people on the game.

Unfortunately most people ARE morons.

MMOs played (In order of how much I've liked them): Star Wars Galaxies, Warhammer Online, City of Villains / Heroes, World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa, Anarchy Online, Ryzom, Final Fantasy XI, Matrix Online, RF Online, Rappelz, Hero Online, Roma Victor

ya I look at that sort of behavior to be a type of pvp or griefing.  Its definitely passive agressive behavior, something very common with nerds.

to be honest I blame blizzard, they should make the system easier to deal with. everyone camping 1 mobs is a waste of time and an intentional grind.

Something similar to wars public quest system would be good for at least single named mob quest goals.

A small problem.... Morons usually don't know that they are morons. How do you solve, that? A test or something?

You can't fix morons, but you can fix the grouping issue.  Make more quest harder for solo players so that they truly feel a need to group up.

Wait that won't work due to blizzards ridiculous item scaling.  One person can have +20 strength gear and struggle killing mobs while another person of the same level could have +60 strength gear and 2 hit kill everytying with ease.  <sigh>  Thanks for making items way to valuble blizz.  Tha's also the reason people won't group.  They wan't that epic purple item all to themselves when it drops.

Best way Blizz can deal with this problem is to put elite mobs up in the mix patroling.  When competition gets fierce and you have jerks racing to kill mobs, they will find themselves getting hit for triple the damage; and suddenly realize they just swiped an ellite mob.  oops!    That's what WAR does a lot.  They hide Champions amongst the regular mobs.  You gotta tread carefully and watch what you pull.  No mindless killing.
