"Destruction Overpowered" This is the biggest bunch of crap I have read on these forums.... I play destruction and scenerios almost exclusively leveling two peeps in thier 30's now and the destruction win ratio is about 40 percent overall. I sometimes go two nights in a row 30 scenerios never win one..............I have no idea what you Order peeps are taling about. The facts: Order Iron Breaker is the best tank in the game right now. Unkillable and the knock back is way OP compaired to the rest. Order Bright wizard, these guys are so overpowered for a mage. No one can deny that. I am now seeing them even leading the charge. Compared to my Sorc I can't even cast 3 times against one before I am dead. The bright wizard is far and above any other class in the game. Order usually has at least 4-5 healers in every scenerio vs the 1 healer on the Destruction side. And forget about a rez if you play Destruction, I have only ever been rezzed twice. So most Destruction players spend thier time running back to the fight. Order comes in every scenerio with this team usually: 5 healers, 3 tanks, 5 Bright Wizards, and 2 Witch Hunters. Unbeatable. If order loses its usually because the scenerio player numbers were not balanced. Anyone dissagree? |

Lets face it, MMOs today are turning into single player console games with a chat box included. |

I agree. The IB is getting a nerf to their grudge system. BW well theyve always been OP thats why theyre probably the most popular class in the game. I think it comes down to the type of people that play the two, I think Order draws older more mature players, whereas younger folks go for destruction based on the artwork. I cant count how many times Ive heard kids say "elves look gay". I prefer Order, I play on 2 servers, one on each side, and I honestly like playing with Order far better. |

I disagree with you on all counts (not to mention most all of these over/under-powered posts are growing more and more tiresome). I think you are missing perspective here. There are soooo many more factors that go into WAR's balance that you need to look at before making any judgement calls like you are doing. First and foremost, you are spinning your wheels comparing ONE class versus ONE other. That has been stated too many times on all the other many balance discussion posts. That's not what WAR is about. Secondly, often times when people get on here claiming this-or-that is over/under-powered it is because they aren't seeing the large picture of the number and composition of classes on each side (which you do make mention of after your bright wizard discussion)....not even to mention getting into level variations, player skill, gear (to some point), etc. ALL of those conditions and more will often times make one side (and/or class) seem to be "uber" when in fact they are no more so than any other. Secondly, a lot of what is seen as over/under-powered is due to level diferences as you move up. You will see a lot of what appears to be advantage for classes kind of switch back and forth as you move up levels. This, I think, is largely due to how folks seem to be training skills up as they move along as well as what is availble to them at the time. As you get to higher levels and moreso at 40, you will see a "leveling" of this effect and more clearly see the kind of "balance" you would expect. I would say, be patient....as mentioned, at higher levels, you will not see those big variances that you chalk up to "overpowered". Then it really does come down more to player skill, team/warband composition, team tactics, etc. As for the coming patch....I refuse to call it a "nerf"... as it actually is pretty much across the board and adjustments that are needed for everyone. As for scenarios and your arguement about who has more healers than who or what not, well, if you don't understand how that works, I can't do much for you. Scenarios are just "luck of the draw". Sometimes you get a good mix, sometimes you don't. It is not a flaw of the game itself. Often it depends on how many of what types of classes are on and queued at any given time (yes, you see TONS of destro Chosen because more often than not every little teen kid thinks "oooo Chosen look cool and I will be such a badass" versus "what can I do to help my side out more"). I don't see Mythic doing much for that as they can't really since it would just clog up scenario queing more (ie. you can't do something like "wait till at least 3 healers que on each side" or anything and you sure can't force people to que who are not, sooooo). |

So true. There are many times where I'll finish one scenario, immediately join another and the new one has an entirely different array of players and classes. We might absolutely own the other side in one scenario, then get completely destroyed in the next. It's the luck of the draw... ~Ripper |

The line in red is the worst reasoning I've read in awhile...So in WoW, all the kids played alliance because they wanted to be legolas...and in WAR it's somehow different? Sorry but it has nothing to do with maturity level and everything to do with Order's ability to turtle with their OP knockback classes and bright wizards. |

| There's something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be, desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety? |
