So it seems that when a PQ is finished that the rolls at the end for the prize loot favor those who didn't win.  What is starting to happen is that the winner doesn't get a prize bag, and if you stand outside and wait until part way through Stage 3 and then join, you can jump in and often WIN the top prize!  This is the stupidest f***ing thing in the world.  It doesn't reward those who worked hard in the PQ, rather it nerfs them in favor to make everything "balanced".  It's the most retarded idea ever.  For example, out of 8 PQs won, I have placed 2nd once, 3rd multiple times, and the rest I won nothing.  I really hate PQs just for that reason.  I don't bother with the loot from prizes, unless I can jump in at the end and win (have done that twice now).  The roll system sucks and doesn't work right.  Just do Public Quests for the influence rewards, the rest is completely nerfed by Mythic.

Too bad you're talking about how the PQs worked from release, which means you're an idiot.

Rolling means it's chance, hence why anybody can win something good, but the CHANCE of someone just jumping in and winning w/ a 800+ roll against someone who actually did something in the PQ is not too often.

If you think PQs are bad you must HATE raiding hahaha. I know I do, but even so, PQs don't have lockout timers and if you had this thing called friends you would be able to "farm" the PQ if you really wanted.

The rolls are completely random.  It doesn't matter how much contribution you have.  Your roll is based on a completely even chance to get a number from 1-1000.  But, the more you contribute to a PQ the more of a bonus you get to that roll.  If you place 1st in contribution you get a +500 bonus to your roll.  So if you roll bad, you can still end up winning a loot bag because of your bonus.

What you're talking about in your post as Mythic "nerfing" the PQs is just you having bad luck.

 I love how the fanboys jump up and down and call me an idiot.  Morons - I'm still playing the game and not some WoW spam retard.  OK, so let me just say this - the rolls are NOT random.  I know they are supposed to be, but don't take my word for it - put it to the test.  Go jump into a PQ in stage 3 and do a little bit to contribute and watch your "random" roll  suddenly push you up to the top.  It's their way to try to even everything out.  It happens every time.  I can count on it.  I win all the time and I lose every time.  My whole guild laughs at it as well.  I'm surprised anyone is even on here trying to defend this.  It's something that needs to be fixed with the next patch.  Please fix the PQs - they are fun, but not worth it to stick through to the end.

But, all the little kids on here will come to the rescue of the game and will never be able to admit where the game needs adjusting.  Guys - I like the game, I just hate some things about it.  Still playing it though.

I have been playing the game since day 1 and I have never seen what you are referring to, StinkyPits.  Personally, my rolls are completely random.  Sometimes if I'm 1st place in contribution I will roll 900+ other times I will roll less then 100.  You know, because it's random.

Same thing with coming in on the 2nd or 3rd phase of the PQ.  Sometimes it is high, sometimes it is low. None of my friends or myself have seen a situation where "it happens every time".

Sorry, I would need to hear a developer confirm this, or some proof, because I have never seen this happen.

This is seriously your biggest complaint about the game??  That you aren't winning random rolls...

Good grief.  There are issues with this game.  The random rolls are not even in the debate.

I, too, have been playing since launch and disagree with you, from experience, not "fanboism" or being "a little kid".  The  rolls are random.  Just because "you(!)'ve" had bad luck with the rolls, does not mean the system is broken.. Most of the times I've gotten top contribution, I have won a loot bag.  A few times I lost.  I have played pqs from tier 1-4 and have  not experienced what you have.  It sounds like you grinded a pq, got some bad luck, lost a few rolls and decided to qq about it.  Sure, it sucks when you get +500 contribution and roll a 3, when someone with no contribution gets a roll of 998, but it happens.. it's random, but the law of averages holds true from my experience.

 One, yes the OP is whining mainly about bad luck.

Two.  You can steal a loot bag in a PQ by entering in the last stage and damaging the hero.  I've done it and have won a gold bag by only walking in on the 3rd stage and hitting the hero once.  I'm sure it pissed the others that did the whole PQ off.

I have to agree that it sucks to come first on contribution and then get nothing due to a random roll.

What they should do - is add extra bags if the top contributors dont win a bag. So maybe ensure the top 4 contributors get a minimum of a green bag.

Because the bonus 500 for coming first doesnt guarantee a bag. I have healed my arse off on PQ's and come first and got nothing. I have tanked my arse off on PQ's and come first and got nothing. And yes it feels like a slap in the face for someone who just turned up at the end to get the big loot.

On the flip side - due to some bug in the code I once spent half a PQ as a chicken. Got the random roll and won the gold bag. Now that was hilarious. I spent more time as a chicken than I did healing people.
