Here lies the main difference between me and the "fanbois". Im skeptical, very much so, however I will not deny the possibility however small it maybe that they might just deliver. Where as you and your camp cannot seem to fathom that theres a distinct possibility that the game maynot live up to the promises theyve set.

As Ive said 1000 times, Id love for them to release the game feature complete, Id play it in heart beat, however their shadiness makes me cringe. Id hate to be a patsy, and since they have no experience in making MMOs whatsoever, Im not inclined to be a Darkfall patsy.

pretty much proved my point.  i didnt make a comment that has to do with any of what you said.  Im just saying this skepticism is good but this OP has been discusses over and over and over and over in multiple threads now.,

Actually, reading this thread has been kind of fun. Then there you are, trampling on (the first amendment and) everyone's fun again.

 

If you honestly cant fathom the point of the post which was that this kind nof thread has been made over and over then there is no hope for you.  Gotta love video game forum people resulting to trying to be lawyers citing first amendmant rights.  When you cant argue a point, and you feel you have to say something or else "they win", it is funny what you can come up with just to say something.

My point is pretty clear.  This topic has been beaten to death in multiple threads.  Talk about it again if you want, but im excersising my first amendmant rights (lol) to voice my opinion about it.

We have witnessed a miracle then, the first MMO ever in existance to not have a single beta leak. Hallelujah!

You say that like when they said back in september they invited people and the recent nov 10th invites have added a total of 1000+ testers...

Get a grip on reality, I would be surprised if they've let in over 150 people, let alone 100. This isn't open beta, they're still testing and fixing things lol.

Still testing? Im confused, were looking at a company that has no MMO experience, and Tasos says theyre releasing in 08. Now mind you theyve taken their sweet time so far, thus the 8 year development window. And somehow theyre going to swing their OB with all the other testing that goes with it in what a month? Dubious my friend, highly dubious.

i've been in quite a few BETAs and not one of their NDAs prevented you from mentioning that you were in beta - nothing else though of course - maybe gave you bragging rights?

Ive never heard of a beta with that type of NDA either. This seems to be a recent thing thats just popped up on the Darkfall boards as a way to perhaps soothe the burn.
