Has anyone from the Mythic team posted any future plans for Warhammer, like adding new content, adding more stuff to this game(besides the 2 classes that they should have had at launch),  just curious.

Do trolls really live under bridges?
I'd like an honest answer from a real troll, like you.

Seriously where did you get this from, your own imaginary world ?

Heh the game has more subscriptions than Eve, or Lord of the Rings, but they gonnashut it down.

If I recall, the guy that brought this up is a "Ninja Troll"  #3 on this great list.  He comes in says something stupid then disappears while the world rages.

My dog ate your homework.

Yup, according to the devs they had 3-5 years of expansions planned in considerable detail even before the release. They have a separate team working on those expansions and it's been working on them, yes, you guessed it, before the game came out.

There's been considerable speculation what is going to be in those expansions but it is almost certain that we'll see new racial pairings (zones and new classes) as the "meat" of this new content. Skaven vs Lizardmen in South America ("Lustria")  Lustria has been considered as the most probabe new conflict to make it into the new expansion. Other popular candidates are Brettonians (arthurian knights, old-school fantasy), Vampire Counts, Ogre Kingdoms, Kislevites (Russians), Wood Elves, Tomb Kings (undead Egyptians..) etc.

Level cap is probably never going to be increased because it would wreak immense havoc in the game's current configuration. On the other hand Increased Renown rank cap is almost a certainity, as well as new gear, unlockable abilities etc.

Whether there are going to be new gameplay modes we'll have to see. Amongst many features devs mentioned they'd like to see in the game's future are proper guild housing, more crafting professions, some kind of mounted warfare, naval warfare and flying units (Warhammer IP does have quite a bit of em).Who knows really?

We'll wait and see... they have to get those missing classes and capitals back in the game first before they start thinking about paid expansions. In addition new racial pairings will mean further dillution of population which is even now too low to sustain a full game experience reliably. New expansion would have to come out only after the server mergers.

E Unum, Pluribus

Short and Sweet. What we've heard from the devs: If it's in Warhammer, it'll be in the game. [paraphrased]

Anyone who enjoys this game and has followed what the dev team has said about its future knows we have much to look forward to.  I fully excpect the population to grow and the first example of this will be with Decembers patch.

One of the things I really like about LoTR was there constant updates, as well as their "road map" of what to look forward to.

Now that Mythic have got the game off to a good start, hopefully they will be fleshing out what will be in the game over the next few months. Obviously the new classes is a great start.

Personally, I would really like to see some playable monsters. Obvously the mechanism exists (think Squig armour). Imagine some arial battles with Dragons verse Wyvens, Eagles verse Harpies etc. Or how about mounted combat, one player being the wolf mount, the other the gobbo shooter?

Oh well, we can all dream :) Having said that, my dream of my favourite MMORPG company (DAoC) releasing my favourite Role play game has actually come to pass.
