Paid MMORPG subscriptions are the ONLY valid rating meters because people have to pay to vote."

War is every where and that's the problem.

Simply put they have too many RVR zones and you can't check each one on the map to find the RVR.  So for most people it's just easier to sign on Scenarios.  Also the bonus for RVR is too little.  Finally in most RVRs the lag get pretty bad.

Waiting for the next thing

agree with everything but the lag...with a good PC you dont lag...I think the most important is the RAM ( I have 4 gb)

My guess it that RvR will pick up once most people reach 40, until then everyone is going to que scenarios as that is the most efficient means of leveling.

2 factions instead of 3.

Apologies for bad grammar.

Currently playing: WoW -Retired SWG Beta Tester (4+ years)

I agree that the RVR is too spread out.  Server populations may or may not contribute to that... I dunno.

I am certainly in favor of options and I enjoy the fact that there are several RVR areas to check... but I just don't see enough people interested in playing in those zones on a consistent basis.

If I can't find pvp in RVR zones and scenario queue's are long... is there really any war in WARhammer?  WAIThammer.

Again, it's similar to World of Waitcraft in the way that you have to wait to PVP.  I'd rather log off and play some COD4 or COD5 and get instant action.

I don't agree.  I think it boils down to 2 issues.

1.  No need for keep defense.  A warband of 24 could go after a keep and only 5 people might show up to defend.  There needs to be a special vendor or something in the keep that people are worth fighting for.  Maybe this special vendor canhave time released items that get better the longer you hold the keep.  You can easily find the action on the map.  Just cycle through the different zones and look for the little yellow mark on the keeps.  That is where the action is.

there is also regional and allience chat plus guild chat to communicate and find out these things.

2.  Scenerios are done too well.  I'm not just talking exp and renown.  I'm talking about the setup, and objectives.  Tor anroc is a prime example.  Show me an open RvR keep that has thin land bridges spread over a huge pool of lava.  there really arn't any locations of of value with interesting obstacles like that.  It's just open field and a few walls.

Meanwhile in the scenerios you have unique objectives to overcome and obstacles all over the place.

"Yesterday is history, Tomorrow a mystery, and today is a gift"

I disagree. On my server, Phoenix Throne, I am in a large guild that has alliances with the other larger guilds. When any type of open rvr happens, we send out spams in our alliance chat, then those on the way to the  battle get the PUGs and its pretty much constant rvr untill you have had enough and log out.

Yesterday we had a few warbands but could not take or defend against the Order forces. I guess they are getting their stuff together

I agree. The problem certainly isnt that RVR is too big, but that it is too seperated. I almost wish they could have re-made the WAR map(if lore allows it, it might not have) to have all of the RVR zones(especially tier 4) connected so that you can run in between them.

Yep, scenarios are simply too convenient.  You could spend 5 mins running to a lake, only to find no action at all.  With scenarios, you can relax and know that in 1-60seconds you will have team vs team combat and rewards.
