to follow across Straglthorn Vale, repeatedly kill, and corpse camp one player 30 levels lower than them for the better part of an hour, even to the point of sneaking into Grom Gol base camp and hiding out for the kill, then sprinting or vanishing only to return and wait some more?  Does the fact that he's free to gank all the lowbies because every other high level is out leveling to 80 give him pleasure?  I remember ganking noobs on my old account... it got boring after like the second one, even when the 70s showed up and put on a decent fight.  How does someone enjoy doing this so much that they keep going and going and going?  I... I just can't comprehend it...

For some people, it's thrilling and fun.

It's like hunting in real life.  Something that I also do not understand, but equally as boring and pointless in my opinion.

Okay, first off . . . actually, nevermind. I'm not even gonna bother with this one . . . - deucallion

It is called being a MMORPG.  Players don't feel anything toward killing since sometime there are basically zero consequences.  Some do it to feel superior, some do it for thrills, some do it out of boredom.  There are variety of reasons for this type of action.  Unlike in real life, people don't need to think twice about doing anything, so they just do whatever they wish.

WoW is actually not so bad in terms of this anyways.  There are plenty of games that is much more hardcore in terms of having players out for blood all over the place.  WoW's is actually rather mild, especially since there aren't much competition within each factions.

That is griefing for you.  Internet bully spending all his time ruining someone elses fun just toboost their own.  Once you get hit twice by a jerk like this, it's best to just log out and play a different character for a few minutes.  griefers get so desparate to go out of their way for a simple unchallenging kill, it is just painful and retarded.

What is funny, is I bet he looks just like the acker int he WoW episode of Southpark.  He just sits there silently like some bored ass zombie mindlessly griefing.  Never laughing, cursing, or showing any emotion.  He just does it.

First of all, do a spell check at least.  Grammar I am not gonna bother since it is the internet.

What do you consider as a stupid name, I find lugal pretty stupid a name.  That is just an excuse, don't bother coming up with excuses for attacking someone, especially when the excuse sux.

Yeah, there are no griefers in WoW, because it is the best game in the world, and all their players are reponsible upstanding citizens.  (Yes, this is sarcasm)

People with IQ under 10 servers that way. ----->

The exitement of PvP server is that those things can happen. And while I do feel sorry that you had bad experience and it had to happen to you, if you can't tolerate it play on PvE server. There the PvP is centered on Arenas, Battlegrounds, and possibly the new PvP zone (I don't really know much about it yet), and it should be more fair since it should be consensual with about equal level characters.

If 'griefing' is going to really bother you ... join a PvE server.

I've characters on all three types, but I know the consequences of playing on PvP server.  Chances are I'm going to get ganked, and if you recognize the guild name toss in camping.  My solutions are:  1.  call in the guild, or 2.  rez at the spirit healer and quest in another area.  I've never found the need to belittle someone, especially since I made the choice of server to join.
