You must be the change you wish to see in the world. . |
I hat summoning. I do. Waste of time and money. Summoning is a dumb skill and Runescape shouldn't have created.
Q: Just a question its true that you need to spend money on the skill?? I saw some videos and they walk with 1m on their inventory could you explain me that thank youA: Yes you must buy shards (25gp each) to? make pouches and you need about 80 shards to make 1pouch. So yeah that adds up into mills. You see, and this was answered by a lvl 84 because i asked him! Look the skill is just CRAZY!

i agree it is a load of bunk. Just look at the creatures - it's all too common and boring(and shit-tastic). This is one of the worst skill, I repeat WORST SKILL that jagex made. Hellcat? Vulture? Damn...what is this a cartoon copy of hell? They could at least put more creativity and action into this shameful thing. |

I think Jagex is trying to turn the members world into a Zoo where kids can play live with pets. |

one of the saddest things about summoning is the inability to ride on your pet. |

Summoning just doesn’t work right with runescape, it makes runescape feel like pokemon(since every high level has a familiar following them all the time). Before summoning came out I don’t think I have ever heard a player ask for it or talk about how it would be cool “to have a summoning skill”. When summoning came out the noob player base reaction was “0mg s0 c00l Pl0xers moore!”(because most of them are kids) while the vets reactions was “wtf is this crap”, but the sad truth is no one really wanted summoning, they wanted necromancing.

I think summoning could have been one of the best skills if Jagex had made it the right way. The way the implemented it was just unorganized and unoriginal. I hate most of the creatures. I wish they would make the creature more useful in combat, like make them able to fight in non-multicombat areas. I also wish you could ride some of the creatures, and I wish they added dragons. |

If you do combat enough to actually have reason to use summoning then it comes in great handy. Using titans allows me to solo KQ much more quickly, conserving food, and being able to use monks as opposed to sharks. Graahks are wonderful for training runecrafting, being significantly faster than the abyss with banking. Using the Spirit Kyaat (sabre one) allows summoning to be boosted at the fastest rate of any skill. Averaging roughly 545K xp per hour around 74+. The unicorn and bunyip allow far less ruthless slayer and boss tasks. Offering healing capablities. The terrorbird is extremely useful generally anywhere you would normally run out of energy. The geyser titans glory refill and ranged proficiency make it a wonderful familiar for skilling and combat. The list goes on, generally all moderate to high level familiars have uses. If you're upset because the desert wyrm you can summon doesn't bring in the mills. You should try actually achieveing something. I can't wait to max it, I look forward to using the steel titan during my soloing trips. |
