Hey all, After finding out that I actually really like PvP, and after reading up about Aion a lot I'm getting quite excited about this game. I have a few questions however that I haven't been able to find answers to from various sources, so I hope you guys (and possibly our kind NCsoft rep ;) ) can help me out! 1. Will there be a significant PvE presence in this game (i.e a lot of dungeons and possibly end game raids) 2. Will the western and asian versions of the game be localised? What I mean by localisation is besides the obvious language (ofcourse the western version will be in English amongst others) is if the specific versions of the game will be catered towards the western or asian markets. Meaning that Aion will play slightly different in Korea, opposed to say the United Kingdom. Or will the versions be identical everywhere around the globe? 3. I don't think anyone really has an answer to this, but I'm deciding between playing an Assassin and a Gladiator, and I would just like to know how Gladiator damage compares to an Assassins =p. 4. Last question would be if there are always quests, or if you are required to just kill monsters without questing to level up? (i.e like Lineage; atleast from what ive heard about it) |

1: Yes. 2: Localization details are yet to be revealed, we know that, for example, if the quest plot is about a Korean tale, they'll change it for the western needs, but as I said, localization details are yet to be revealed. 3: Gladiators do less damage in exchange of some more survability. 4: Quest or grind, both options would take you to the level cap. |

I enjoy the game even though I can't read a bloody thing. Worst part was getting to 10 and chosing your class. Luck of the draw unless you translate your class into Korean and make a semi educated guess. |

They have revealed a little info, NCWest, put out a few examples of graphical improvments west will be getting in contrast to east. They are changings shaders and lighting on buildings to make them blend in more with hte world and seem like they are meant to be there. I will look for the link. |

Thanks for the link Denshing! Thank god they made those changes to the lighting, I am very fussy about lighting & draw distance in MMORPGs as a failure in both those departments leads to a bland an un-immersive experience on my behalf. Glad we wont be having any of those cases in Aion =) I didn't really find a text saying that this was only for the West and not for Korea tho. |

I was under the impression that it was for the entire client(s), but I could be wrong. |
