If you're not going to heal, don't roll a healer.  Yes healers can do damage, but not at the level a true DPS can.  So if you see a DPS going down, start healing.

Waiting for the next thing

I'm gonna assume you rolled order, never seen so many healers think they were dps as the whole party got rolled in a scenario.  Had a group the other day where and archmage did 7k dmg and 4k of healing.

In orvr I've had alot of luck with really good healers sprinting around the battlefield keeping everyone on their feet, but for some reason in scenarios the healers suddenly all think they're BW's.

At some point you go: "that soddling <insert tank class> is never going to kill that bloody <insert tank class>, this fight is going to go on all night. Sod it, switching to offensive mode!".

The problem is that Mythic have made healers fun, you have a lot of toys, and by damn I'm going to use them all :) Basiclly I don't pay my hard won cash so that other players can have a good time playing and killing, I pay my hard won cash so I can have a good time :) Mostly this means healing the group, but if I decide that I'm come down with a case of nuke'me all - then the disciple/warrior priest in the group is about to have a stressful time.

However, I found that most players and groups just put up with the healer going amok every now and again; they understand you can only spam, heal, hot, heal, hot etc before going a little nuts.

2 of the 3 healing classes on each side have to do damage to get the most out of their healing.

Don't blame the Archmage.

1) Who can resist shooting freaking sun energy pew pew lazer beams from their eyes?

2) Who can resist burning your enemy's spirit with aforementioned sun energy pew pew?

3) Archmages have High Magic, which means they balance Force and Tranquility. If they're spamming heals, they can't insta-cast that mega heal that normally takes 3 seconds to cast and is very fragile, but heals for about three times the "normal" heals. It's all a balance, with more healing than damage, but not totally damage-less. If you tried to explain it to that particular AM and he said, "I wanna be a BW when I grow up!" then you could slap him upside the head. But I say I do about 15-25% more healing than damage on my AM.

Runepriests are a different story. Stunties need to spam those heals and run.

--------------------------------------
A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

Rule Number 2:

If youre gonna tell people how to play their characters as a rule, YOU must pay their subscription or drink a big cup of Shut The Hell Up with sugar.

So is rule number 3:  If you're gonna ruin the gameplay of everyone else in your scenario by playing your class the wrong way you need to pay for their gameplay?

No, that would be linked with the Number 4 rule: If you don't like how little someone is healing you, reroll a healer and... Physican, heal thyself.

Pretty arrogant to tell someone else how to play. Also, if your gameplay is "ruined", just wait for the next full Scenario.

They go off every few minutes ande ALL day, right? :P
