You see what point I am trying to make? We have these accounts that was not set up on continuos subscription and we have this thing GOA states they have added (which I assume was possible earlier). What are they trying to do? Are they trying to trick people that they are "fixing" a thing, adding a thing, motivating them to to switch accounts being set to be only for one month into continuos. Especially this part: "Our account systems were updated last Friday and the option for an automatic renewal of your subscription was added. This renewal, as indicated in the general subscription conditions, makes it easier to manage your account as you do not need to enter your payment details every month." They are telling us that they are doing us a favor in that they are changing the noncontinuing sub into a continous. Because, why?, shurely I mean to subscribe to the game even though I choosed to do it manually every month. Now theye made that easy for me and I no longer need to manualy do that. That is fishy and a scam. But it almost seems like I should owe them gratitude for it. That excuse they sent out just seems more like they are playing innocent. |

I think in situations like this they should either never change it without your permission, because they are effectively charging you without your consent, or send you a written paper letter through the post well in advance. I would imagine that they will get rapped knuckles over this in Europe because they are quite strict on this kind of thing. |

I got so much |
Yes, it is complete BS. Their automatic renewal was up and running already month before - I did renew and automatic one exactly 29 days ago. So their message and action was a total scam.
What is even worse , that I have now send allready third letter to support , asking to delete my billing details - And they are very dodgy about it. I dont think they will agree to do it.
But holding your CC details without consent is illegal in most European countries....

i am also pretty angry about that. i disabled my auto-renewal because i went for holidays. i came back last week and saw they enabled my payment again. WTF ?!? 2 days later and i had to pay again even if i didnt want to. that was a pretty lame attempt to get my money and i hate Mythic for that. they lost all their reputation with this. No crap that was a cheap cheap attempt to ripoff some of my money.

Dear All I too was caught by this and was absolutely livid (multiple emails to support etc). However, this does appear to have been a genuine error on their part. Magnus over at Warhammer Alliance posted this http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2678685 I quote.. Subscription issue
So to the nay sayers, yes it did happen, but to the angry affected, it was a mistake rather than a scam regards Scott |

Having dampened the flames.. I will stoke the fire slightly If this is a genuine, known issue, they should post it clearly on games website news section, not via a 3rd party forum Scott |
