Are you talking about some retarded roleplaying events? Endgame means lots of things to lots of different people, some prefer raiding content, others questing, yet others working on professions, etc. However in a game that has no content upon reaching max level, just what are the players that perfer content left to do? Oh yes, they leave, thats what. How is wanting content for endgame play having an "unhealthy attitude". I wont go into that much more until I understand fully what your speaking on. The last paragraph gave me a chuckle. Population growing in TR? LOL! Garriott just bailed on the game, this will do nothing to increase its popularity. I resubbed a month or so ago only to find the same barren wastelands that drove me from the game in the first place. What exactly has changed? And I highly doubt TR is scooping up the AOC and WAR refugees, thats simply not doable. Most players that like fantasy games stick with fantasy games. And with the onslaught of new SCIFI MMOs approaching (STO, SGW, Earthrise, Fallen Earth) TR will definitely be done for. Please. I have been gaming for 10 years, ppl dont leave a game only to switch genres as you describe. Sorry nice try but I am not convinced however I would like to hear about your ideas for player created endgame. Thanks! |

They have done a lot of bug fixing and balancing and skill fixes. As for things really added, they have a few new weapons(new versions of old weapons like double Rocket Launcher or Triple Shotgun) a few new instances and they have adjusted difficulty and worked to make the MOBs more unique. |

To me in order to have great player created endgame you need more sandbox elements and TR has none. Tr is story driven and as such really needs regular content updates to give players more to do. If the PVP was based on different factions working with or against eachother you could have more players driven content but TR PVP is more wargames than a system with alliances and maybe playable Bane would be impactful on the game. He can believe the game is growing all he wants, I will read the NCSoft quarterly reports and see TR at basicly the same as last quarter for revenue and base my posts off actual verifiable fact. Like the fact they spent 74 million and are making about 6 milliona year in revenue. I know this is difficult math but 74 sure seems a lot bigger than 6. |

Maybe you're not familiar with the term "FPS," I don't know. It stands for "First Person Shooter." Deus Ex is played in first person perspective and only first person perspective. It also uses a "shooter" style combat system. Yes, it has RPG elements in it, but it is first, foremost, and above all else, an FPS. Quit arguing retarded semantics. It makes you sound like a buffoon. And now to complete this flame: You, sir, are worse than Hitler. |

I played beta for 9 months and release for 9 months. Finally unsubbed back in August. When I got to lvl 50 - there were quests and maps I hadnt done, but I couldnt see any point doing them. I considered re-rolling an alt - but didnt want to repeat the same content again. |

Hmmm, well since no one here apparently knows I looked at the patches... 14 "deployments" plus smaller patches since launch..roughly 12 months ago. Each one addressing or adding something of substance...so much for all that yapping. www.rgtr.com/news/patch_notes/index.html There are a lot of arguements about this game but all I am seeing is it all coming down to individual taste and nothing more then that. Obviously if you are looking for a "sandbox" TR was never the right choice and I do believe it was never ever marketed as such. Soooo.......I guess I'm finished here as there are only a handful of people here anyway who are not really all that informed about the game in any event and really have nothing to contribute but a bunch of "I hate TR" post. Back to CoX

Torak I thought you got or won 30 days of free TR? You not going to use the free time? D15 might be a pretty good patch.
