Question speaks for itself really. Last night I noticed that all I did was hit the “join all” button. I know I am not forced to do this, but there is never any RvR and no PQS and the quests…well lets face it…the quests are shite. In a heart beat I would re roll on a server with no scenarios. Then you would actually have to fight for zone control in the open. The way the damn game was intended to be in the first place, until mythic decided to try and please everyone. 5 times in the last 3 months I have been involved in semi decent RvR. The Halloween event was a stroke of genius and the most fun I have had.

Please mythic, nip the rot in the bud. I love the game, but the future is bleak if the new scenario driven patch is anything to go by.

Paid MMORPG subscriptions are the ONLY valid rating meters because people have to pay to vote."

Personally I think most people prefer Scenarios over RVR..  The reasons are you don't have to organize a Scenario.  You can solo a Scenario.  You don't have to worry about uneven odds in a Scenario.  Unless you do something wrong, you won't be ganked while dealing with an unique mob.  Scenarios are available at any place in the world.  You can level/PQ in between Scenarios.  The is now death debuff for dying in a Scenario.  You have less time running back to the battle in a Scenario.

So what are the benefits of RVR?

Waiting for the next thing

i would rather server transfer then reroll but yeah, i think a scenario less server would feel a lot more alive then the servers we have now.

You hit the nail on the coffin

1) Yes no need to spend time looking for groups in scenarios its more or less evened out .

2) in scenarious my win /lose ratio has been constant at 50% .
Many a times we play without teamwork and lose ,Many a times I have seen the group starts working together and we managed to win in near death situation.
In RVR no guess Order is out numbered by destro most of the time and no use wasting time in RVR .Thast it its a waste of time .In an hour or 2 I can get better gear ,xp and renown points doing PQ and
scenarios.I even dont do quest these days .Just do quest till i get in a scenario or see people in PQ.

Blame Mythic completely for releasing the game without the 4 cut classes and creating imbalance therof.

3) No running back

4) Easy XP ,renown points

5) Its more fun , I feel I am making a difference I am either tanking or dishing out dps and killing people and its fun .In RVR yesteday we where a group of 15 approx trying to take a keep guarded by more than 30 destro We could not manage to break the door . The moment I would get close 6 of them would gank me.No fun in dying in 3 sec and 1 minute running back to the keep.

they should also make the RVR like scenarios in a bigger scale balance people out and instance it

6) I am in tier 2 and roaming freely everywhere rarely was i attacked by anyone .
Once a magus did try to gank me , rooted him and ran to the nearest order guards post that cant be found everywhere .

I think they should make an experiment server, a LIVE one, that has no scenarios. See how the pop hits it, see how the game does without scenarios and then make a decision based off of that. Anything that can help the game get better can't be a bad thing.

Looking Forward to: STO and STOR and the Wheel of Time mmorpg

A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.

Sure I would.

I dont think the scenarios are a bad thing necessarily however I would like to try it without them just as an experiment. I wonder if they ever tested it that way before and what the results were. Assuming the beta testers tried it both ways and scenarios ended up winning out over not having them maybe the game wasnt fast paced enough without them to hold the attention of the current  A.D.H.D gamer demographic.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
