Hey you guys, I think there is going to be an English-language beta for Aion. Who wants to flame me?

I don't think they'd give access to a Korean beta, do you? C'mon, all you guys who have jumped on other posters for asking if there was going to be a beta should own up and apologize (I am not one of them, so I forgive you.)

Those news comes from the staff of TB. Not alot of players knows what Preview Events means, so I believe they just add the word BETA so all the players would understand what they are currently get for being active subs for TB.

They told us Preview Events, so PE will be.

The Tabula Rasa gifts state they will be giving out

"Aion beta access (coming soon)"

I think that is pretty good evidence of their being some sort of beta in the next few months.

Edit: Just to clarify, "beta" and "preview" are two completely different words and have nothing in common. It would make no sense to call a preview weekend a beta.

Aion Preview Events

The 'Aion beta access' that is mentioned pertains to the online Preview Events we will be holding in 2009.

The 'Pre-order access' mentioned is meant in a relatively ambiguous way. While it's not unreasonable to expect a pre-order programme of some sort, we haven't finalized any related plans yet. In other words, we don't have any additional information on it right now.

The 'digital client' is not something I can confirm right now, but you can expect as with most of our games that Aion at some point will be made available for digital download.

I guess that solves that.

Its as he said already, its preview event access. Makes me wonder how limited preview event access is gonna be though. Must make sure I get in!

Yeah, I sure hope these Tabula people aren't taking all the Aion PE spots. I'm gonna be peeved.

And OP who jumped on who? As far as I know people have just clarified what the Aion 'open beta' really means and people get all huffy about it. /shrug
