Anyhoo, for those that don't know, CCP has a YouTube channel (uk.youtube.com/user/CCPGAMES) with some footage of Ambulation - it's an hour long but skip to about 30 minutes for the actual demo, as the beginning is mostly about the new lighting effects they'll have.

And it can't come any sooner!  Been waiting on this upgrade for a long time.

I played EVE for 4+ years. I'm an EVE Vet (multiple accounts). I owned and ran a mining/manufacturing corp.

I quit EVE awhile after the last Dev was caught cheating to help his corp mates, but not over that. I quit when they failed to punish players for using disposable alts to gank other players. A thing which has long been against the rules, yet a few select players are exempt.

A lot of players left over the Dev cheating fiasco, yet others are filtering away when the ship loss replacement rules are selectively applied. Some get their ships replaced when lost to bugs/exploits, yet others are not, when in the exact same situations.

In EVE it comes down to who you are friends with, not what rules apply.

well said. I have been in eve since 2004 too and what ElgarL is saying is true and one of the major flaws in EVE.

That doesnt mean you should not try EVE.. EVE is still really fun as long as you set your limits. Basically any large scale conflits [ big alliances etc ] are dev/ccp controlled. As long as you dont get involved in those conflits and/or areas affected youll be fine.

As someone said.. as you get closer to the dump.. you start to feel its smell ;)

using recyclable alts to grief people is an exploit and a bannable offense. the whole T20 thing is done, and getting ships back on petition doesnt work for anyone.

quit whining.
