Can I just be a crafter or is it added on like a secondary skill ? I understand that crafted goods will be superior to drops so Id like to be a hardcore crafter and run my own business in FE. Im not too crazy about fps or 3rd person shooter combat so Id prefer to avoid it if possible |

Anybody need a towel!?! South Park, Mr.Towely |
Originally posted by admriker4 acually im pretty sure you can go all out crafter. but the prob with that is lets say you need spider venom for this special oil for a gun creation. i guess you need some sort of weapon skills. if I was you id go to the main site they have a GREAT question system where they answer a question asked by the fans everyweek you should be able to find your answer within the older questions asked. im sure someone has asked this question at some point :) |

To make yourself the best crafter you would have to max out intelligence and perception(I believe it is perception). So if you are wanting to be a good crafter, those two would be your main attributes. |

Without saying more then allowed, it is "possible" to be just a crafter and level. It may be that leveling with crafting is slower then running missions and combat but still possible. There may be limitations on what is available to those testing and what is "possible" now may not be "possible" later. |

While crafters are important, I don't there has ever been a game where crafters are more important than fighters. And I'm not expecting (any good game at least) to change this. I don't dislike crafting, it's just that it isn't interesting enough to make a main thing. |

Crafters will be very important in this game and I think crafters will be the ones to create the most powerful weapons/armor. And yes in SWG (pre nge/cu) Crafters where super important and people were pretty hardcore about it heh :) |
