Off-Topic:  I think part of the hate is that if you believe in one religion you most likely believe all other religions are wrong.  I understand that in some cases but what makes your religion any better than someone else's?  Also,  in the US and other countries that emphasize individual rights,  I've always wondered why there's so much discrimination against homosexuals.  I'm asking this because I've seen a lot of people using Christianity as an excuse for it but that religion also seems to value acceptance and tolerance which just confuses me further.

          If you have read throguh the bible then there is little doubt how God feels about homosexuality (has nothing ot do with religion).......People dont want to hear it but He states many many times how he hates it......HE created man and woman to be together and that is how it was meant to be..... What is often misunderstood is that people think Christians hate homosexuals but in reality they hate the act of homosexuality.......There is always forgiveness from God for people who have sinned whether it be homosexuality or some other sin........
 

right here, GOD destroys cities in the Bible who were openly homosexual, so if you dont think God is against it check again

but that shouldn't leave the impression that Christians hate homosexuals. It also says in the Bible that we should love our neighbor just as much as we love ourself. I disagree with homosexuality, but I won't bash people because of their choice. God gave us free will...so if you want to be gay, that's your choice.

Calling the bible "Historic" is reaching a bit for it. If you don't believe that, try put all the worlds animals in a small boat. While some of the storys in the bible actually have some archeological evidence, most of it is at best doubtful. To call something historical you need at least another source, and you need something written down by an eye witness. Most of the old testament is written down a long time after. Off course it is impossible for me to prove that something didn't happen but to call something history you need to prove that it did.

No, I don'tbelieve in this, first off all you would offend some people whatever you do. Secondly, few parts of the bible have enough lore to actually make an intresting game.

The Crusades on the other hand would make a really great historic MMO.

Okay, so Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Jesus go into this bar. Sant a goes up first and says: 'Ho Ho Ho, I'd like a strawberry daiquiri.'

To which the bartender says: 'Sorry, we don't serve make believe folk here.' *Poof* Santa suddenly disappears.

YEah I laughed at the poking Jesus too. I laugh at Jesus and God jokes all the time.  I love some of Eddie Izzards stuff about calling Jesus Jeezy Kreezy. That guy is funny.

Haha, brilliant idea. Ofcourse it will get an uproar in the religious community since the bible, especially the old testament is full of all kinds of sick shit religion conveniently forgot and don't talk about. You got everything in that book; mass homecide, rape, sex, murder, incest, jealusy, drug abuse, alcoholism, killing of children (by divine will even ), brotherly hatred, bigotry, dark magic (angels making themselfes human bodies so they can bang the earth women ), fanatism, genocide and so on. Lots of themes to take from and build an mmo around.

Actually when I think about it, better not. The amount of ignorant hatred we gamers get from the likes of parent groups and people like Hillary Clinton, Jack Thompson and Fox News will pale in comparison to the hate, and probably laws backed by religious lobby groups, we will get if ever such a game was made and become mainstream and popular. Just too many different beliefs to please. Funny though as they are all based on the same thing, and the two leading religions this world got originates from the same source, a dude with a crapload of wifes and even more kids who went around and called himself Abraham.
