World of Warcraft

Hey....

So yeah yeah all the hype and everything went to the midnight launch in my gamestore near me and purchased WRATH!! zomg all this beta talk and zomg deathknight ( I originally planned to quit once wrath went live but fell into the hype trap). My gf and I got it went home and after the good amount of coffee (or some other substance) consumed we finally installed it.

First- Made a deathknight! What did do you expect? I've been wanting to try out a Deathknight for the awesome! The beginning quests were well thought out and really fun! I gotta say probably the most fun I've had in awhile. With all the fun bombing.. grand theft horsie and deathgripping your mom. What happend after? I saw the hell hole of hellfire.. Alrite cya.. I mean really? Its bad enough we waited years for new content which would result in making 4+ 70 alts do I really need to see hellfire pen one more time? No I don't and yes DK gear you get looks freakin AMAZING. But yes it will get replaced by ugly greens of TBC gear.. DK gear starts you off with dark gear... a nice DK sword (from the beginning cinematic) but easily gets replaced by a skinny pos ninja knife. I immediately logged cuz If I had to pick up another felhunters crap...

Second- Welcome to northrend! Whats the first thing I wanted to try? New quests and new dungeons! More on the new dungeons part since I like PVE by instances, grouping, and just having fun with friends while leveling easier than killing 100 chickens and cooking it then giving it to a guy you don't even know. My gf and I have a tank and a healer and our buddies have the deeps. We were so stoked to find a new challenge since we cleared SWP. Maybe it was just me but when I ran into Ramps @ 60 with the same friends it was pretty damn rough.. I thought the second pull was hard enough with the chance of pulling a whole mob + adds. There was no challenge in UK and the Nexxus. We pretty much AOEd most of the mobs without pulling aggro and just to regain aggro all the tank had to do was swing once or twice here. WTH? I waited years to play dungeons that don't require any thinking? We did UK and Nexxus at 5am tired as hell and it wouldn't matter if you lagged out for 5 minutes there was no challenge. Continuing with more dungeons we realized the reason why there are guilds clearing all PVE content in the first week. I'm sorry but a 60 purpled out mage can not AOE ramps in TBC and not get ganked let alone live through adds. Why can 2 70s spam volley/arcane explosion do good amount of dps and tank never lose aggro?

I know there is casual players that would like to see content without going through the problems like TBC had but isn't that why there is 10 mans in wotlk? Also I'm not the best player either. I r a noob and I admit it . But we are going through dungeons like nothing. This why I will no longer will be playing  WoW. You know I really thought with the way TBC was going with the tough raids and fun fights (especially in SWP) that this is where it was going. All the gear from UK to End game gear looks exactly the same. Plate looks like plate..no matter what class. I don't care about the quests because I hate questing no matter how cool that guy dies. But dungeons is where I live in. Its fun its with friends and gives more XP and keeps me playing. On our realm we already have guilds who are already clearing naxx.. Anyway GG... frkin blizzard. killed it..

I guess a level 3 in grey armour, since you didn't even notice the new armour that dropped in WotLK has much higher polygon draw than epics in TBC.

The game is boring and dull and now many people who played the expansion finally see that it is nothing more than a TBC makeover, nothing new, nothing exciting, grind to 80 and wait another 3 years for the next expansion...mindless sheep I call many of them....
 

Ignore bodypass, he or she is 2nd in WOW fanbois command just under Azrile..These 2 know it alls frequent the other forums all the time..They treat the other forums as if they are Epic quests and they go around and defend WOW as if they are getting a paid endorsement..
 

Play WAR if you want to experience ACTUAL PVP and not WOW's version of a sad attempt to sucker more people into these rinse and repeat expansion packs.

Wasn't that the point of this expansion?  Blizzard is definitely loaded with extremely intelligent business minds...no one can deny that.  The amount of subs they maintain after 5 years now is amazing.  They know exactly what they need to do and when to do it to keep the $ rolling in.

They keep making the game easier to appeal to more people.  They keep dulling it down because the older intelligent gamer is the minority now, you know the ones that were gaming and playing MMOs before WoW came along.  You cant argue that because obv WoW brought in millions of people to the genre.

So yea it has become a lot easier over the years, but that was their goal.  Being dull depends on the gamer...those raised on WoW dont understand how cheap and easy it is, but thats fine because they have fun and thats all that matters.

Yes the game has been made easier, but basing your claims on REGULAR low level instances, and the only proof supplied of harder content being "too damn easy" is "people on mah server already cleared it!" is just /facepalm

If it's too easy for you move along, but if you MUST get on the forums and preach about how "easy" it is to everyone at least get to level 80 and do some heroics and raids (the pinnacle of PvE difficulty) so that you can present detailed first hand evidence to back your claims.

This post is hilarious because PvP isn't even mentioned in the post you quoted.

to the OP

1. yes, you start a DK at 55, do an awsome chain and then you have to go thru the leveling, same as any other character, if you dislike it, you can just leave your DK after the chain and level him slow and steady afterwards (like i plan on doing).

2. by your statement, you've cleared SWP, this put you in what is the equivelent of level 75-80 dungeon blues for the expension, and you wonder why nexus and uthgrade are easy? i never had to replace my T3 at the start of TBC until i got to the heroics/kara (oh, and on a side note, if you're trying to do any but the easiest WoTLK heroics in your SWP gear, esp as a tank, expect to be oblitirated)

remember blizzard made this expension to the average player, and the average player started this expension with a mixture of gear roughly equivilent to tier5 and 4, which he will get to replace pretty fast while leveling, i'll admit none of the bosses were new concepts, some are a blend of 2-3 mechanics we've all seen before, but the instances themselves are well drawn, and provide the 30-40 minutes of fun they're supposed to for a casual friendly game like this (and if you're looking for a challange, go ahead and go for the more intense achievements, then come back and tell me how you feel this game is easy)
