As of yet they do not have any pets that will fly with them. It leaves the SM at a disadvantage while flying at the moment. But i'm sure they make up for it in stronger nukes while flying or something. Flight fighting is somewhat limiting at the lower lvls, But that will change when people get to lvl 40 and up (You can add buffs to rings and earrings that will give longer flight time).

They need to use the water pet (ranged) or use the different techniques they have to get the enemy on the floor. Afaik they have a skill that takes seconds from your flight counter and another one that takes you directly to the floor.
