General Discussion

I can't find any posts about this game, maybe my "search skills" need dusting.  Anyhow anyone have any takes on this game? it looks like a fun combination of team fortress 2 + eve online I can't wait to try it personally, maybe when I replace my old athalon 3500 single core processor i'll give it a shot if it has been released by then.
 
Also what does everyone think of Aion? it looks good but by the time it hits the states there won't be much game content left unexplored... Anyhow I hope it's as good as it looks.

Darkfall wont have classes nor "hardcoded" factions (meaning you CAN attack your own faction but theres penalties) so Team Fortress wont be a good exsample.

Its basically Eve Online with orcs&elves and "use skill to become better at it" type of character progress.

Yeah but like TF2, DFO will have ranged combat that is a lot like deathmatch style FPS games. Mages will aim spells and old FPS tricks(like aiming for the feet, jumping/weaving, and others) will be huge factors. So yes it will be a bit like TF2 :P

Well I've read posts about people saying the graphics look good on darkfall but I don't know so much, looks like they barely compete with everquest2 (which is a couple years old) or maybe the screenshots I saw were from someone with minimum settings I dunno.

but I like the idea of the character development
