How bad is the grind in this game? How long to you think it would take a person (Halfway between casual and devout) to get to Mines Of Moria content?

I hate starting games after expansions are released......it doesn't feel right to me for some reason XD As if I'm somehow an outsider hehe

Getting to MoM content might take a while.

I just restarted a character myself though and it's all good even though I've been around a year.

I'm willing to do you a favor. Here is an 'insiders pass'. I will give it to you with my permission to join me in playing the game. If anyone asks who told you you could play send em to me!

There were two new classes released with MoM, so you definetly will be meeting plenty of people in every zone. The leveling is a lot of fun, and could take anywhere between 4 days played to 15 days played based on your speed. By average if you read the quests, explore by yourself it takes 8-10 days.

The /played on my 48 burglar is a little less than 200 hours.  He's almost a GM weaponsmith though so that adds time.

With my minstrel I did very little grinding.  Just going from zone to zone doing quests will level you fairly steadily.
