I think the naesayers balance out the fanboys rather nicely on this issue, actually.  So I wouldn't go so far as to say that everyone has confidence in Darkfall.

There are more people who are skeptical of darkfall that "trolls" and more people like the other quote who have not even played the game.. yet have SOO Much faith based on dev promises.

thats why many people are hyped about this game, also because many WOW players suck at games so they wont be able to hack it at all in darkfall.

thats why some are excited about it.

Oh.. what is that? you haven't played it?? And.. You know all of these things how?? Cause the DEvs said.. just like they said clan beta in 2005? Or possible betas every year for the past 5 years?  Is that how?? ..

I really like how you can blast people for being positive about a game that they have never played but you can bust on a game that you have never played.

Wow.. You aren't the brightest bulb, are you?  No where did I "blast" on the game.   It's funny. .. I guess if you aren't gah gah over darkfall.. you must be blasting it.. Get a f'n clue man.. People believe the word of the Devs WAY too much.. when they have next to zero credibility.  

 

I am in no way gah gah over Darkfall, there is a good chance i wont even play though i am interested.

And perhaps you didnt blast the game in THIS thread, but i have read many from you on this board.

But you are right, believing everything that comes out of the Devs mouth is probably not the best, but discounting everything as you tend to do isnt either.

So they have missed some release dates and Beta dates, who the hell really cares. None of us are paying for this game. Let them take as long as they want to put the thing out, and if in the end they just decide to junk the whole idea then thats fine too. We still lose nothing.

Im on this forum because i am interested in the game and hope i can get some more information. You are on here to tell everyone they are foolish. Who is really wasting their time here. I am getting what i want and it has gotten to the point that no one is even caring what you write. Pretty soon you will be tenspotting and people wont even bother to read.

Games coming out = Good for everyone
Games not coming out = Bad for everyone

Easy concept.

Find one thread where I blast darkfall.. when you don't find it.. report me this thread for "harrassment" like you did my last post. 

You say I "blast" darkfall.. but you lack any.. basic knowledge.. Darkfall has NEVER Missed a release date. A release date has NEVER been posted.  They've missed betas.. yeah.. Duh.

Whenever I post out the short comings of the blind fanatics.. I get labeled a troll.. Fine.. Who's labeling me?? right.. the blind fanatics..

I'm not wasting my time.. I'm actually having a good laugh..  I find it funny when YOU... who is .. well.. too lazy to read the information you are trying to gather.. yet.. take the time to point out my shortcomings on a message board..

So.. next time you think about running your mouth throwing around insults and putting words in my mouth.. stop.. think.. and move on.. cause.. That's a lot quicker than what you are trying to accomplish..

OP: Personally I was one of the unfortunates that believed in Funcom and AoC, I left the game after giving it a fair chance, but realized that I had been lied to. The company used too many resources on marketing, and too few on development.

This is one of the reasons that I believe in Darkfall, Aventurine seem to spend their money on creating the game.

Another important aspect is that they have achieved in breaking many norms in MMO development, which I believe is why so many cry vaporware - the player base is not used to a company that does not compromise anything, not even the player demands of being put into the information loop (to some extend).

And last it is the promise to make a game, that doesn't feature the usual select taget, and fire away gameplay. That you actually have to aim in the game makes a big difference for me.

We don't have confidence.. We have hope..
