Normally, we do not so much look at things as overlook them.

View all problems as challenges. Look upon negativities that arise as opportunities to learn and to grow. Don't run from them, condemn yourself, or bury your burden in saintly silence. You have a problem? Great. More grist for the mill. Rejoice, dive in, and investigate.

It's been in the bargain bin at my local store for £6.99 for about a week I asked why and they said it hasn't been selling and they wanted to make room for other titles for christmas, and she said the only way to buy it after that stock had gone is to order it or buy it online. They still selling AOC for £14.99 so that says alot about how well WARS doing.

"Free crack and everybody gets laid."

I still /facepalm myself for spending $80 on the collector's edition.  Worst collector's edition I ever bought.

The miniature figurine was broken.  The artbook's images were all posted online months/years before the book.  The dinstinictive faces for each race looked horrible for EVERY race expect the elves and greenskins (dwarfs were....mmmmkay).  Finally, and something MJ neglected to mention until a few days before beta: ANYBODY who preordered war, that is the collector's edition edition (extra $30) or standard edition would be getting into open beta.  I wont lie, I, and many others that ordered the collectors edition, did it for the open beta access.  Being told right before the beta started that anybody who preordered the standard edition game would also receive open beta was a slap to the face.  MJ response to us: If you feel cheated out of your money, then go ahead a cancel your collector's edition and predorder the standard edition. VERY ENCOURAGING WORDS. GG ASS

Of course the people that ordered the standard edition and thought they would be getting into open beta had their own issues to sort out.  Mythic failed to mention that only the people with the right system spec would be allowed in.

Anyways, it was my first experience with mythic.  It was bad.  At this point, I believe mythic is subpar.  I never played DaoC, I cannot comment on that.  But, my experience was bad with warhammer, and so was many others.  I wont even mention GOA Europe's playerbase.

Amazon does that a lot. WotLK is already on sale for $25. I think they do that to empty out their stock.

I cannot argue about how Mythic handled the Beta/Headstart with CE/SE, but the rest of the CE quality is just opinion.  I thought the graphic novel was quite enjoyable.  To each his own i guess.

BTW the miniature is not broken.  You must glue the hand onto the model.  They are separated for reasons like painting.  This is a big misunderstanding that most ppl have.

The pen is mightier than the sword if the sword is very short, and the pen is very sharp.

I'm glad I bought the CE edition for Warhammer. Looks good on a shelf. AoC CE I felt was a bit better in that the sound track was very good and lasted even after the demise of the game (for my playing). Of course I played WAR longer than AoC so I liked the actual game more. *shrug* oh well. Here's to hoping for the next title.

I think that for the sake of safety (avoidance of wife aggro) I  might not be scoop up CEs quite so fast next time around, HAHA!

This more than likely has nothing with mythic reducing the games price it's more likely the shops have too much stock and the games not selling so they reduce the price hopeing to shift the stock, I know thats whats happened to the store around me.
