Obviously not. You have at least a rudimentary grasp on written English, so I'm baffled as to why you didn't read the parts where he says that it's Lost Empire: Immortals. |

In the auto industry they used quite a few tricks to disguise the real product. The title could be that, could it not? |

Ah. I see where you're coming from. With all the announced enhancements planned for EVE in the near future, I doubt it. Lost Empire is available now, and it does indeed play well, but it actually has little in common with EVE. Head on over to Fileplanet and try out the demo :) |

The game is a turn-based strategy game. It's already out in stores. I highly doubt CCP will -ever- make a sequel to EVE. They've already proved with the graphics update, and now with the upcoming ambulation project, that they are capable of constantly improving the game to keep it up to date. The game could literally go on for the next 10 years easily. They can add a ground game, and basically monopolize the sci-fi genre for years to come if they play their cards right. All without creating a new game.. just by updating their current one. |

If EVE ever added a ground combat portion and extended that into space (marines docking with enemy ships and capturing/destroying them from the inside out) and the combat didn't suck I'd go back in a heart beat. As it stands though combat and travel in EVE are rather poorly done, IMO. Particularly the combat. |

/boggle You guys think that looks better then EVE's current graphics? If that was EVE 2 then it would of taken a huge step backwards visually and game play wise. |

I would actually not like if the ground game interfered with the space game. I believe they should keep these two parts completely seperate, while still having influence over the other. IE - what happens can affect the others. But I don't feel they should ever implement a mechanic which completely interferes with the portion of the game that's already there. That's why they were so careful about Ambulation. You can either take part in it, or you can't. It won't matter either way, and won't affect the people who don't take part. If they allowed the ground game to interfere with the space game, I think a LOT of people would be mad, as a good majority of players -live- for the space game and would want nothing more. |
