After 20 continuous hours in front of the computer screen playing WoW, a 15 year old Swede went into convulsions and collapsed from sleep deprivation and hunger. The boy is expected to make a full recovery and his father has vowed to limit the amount of time he can play from now on. |

I agree, I used to push 60+ hrs as a youth. Pizza and caffeine is all you needed. |

Something about 10 years ago I have spend about 48 hours playing Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games. I survived it, my old CRT monitor has not...Contemporary youth is so fragile... |

Let them fall...WOW and subscribers are like a Hydra and its heads...for every 1cut off...10 others spring up to take it's place. All part of the business strategy.....of course I'm kidding. Just funny the father will only limit the amount of gametime....if my kid played a game to such a degree that it risked his health...he would not be able to play that game..period..at least not in my house.. Of course..I don't have kids so...that's not saying much. |

Yeah, perhaps he told his Dad it was only 20 hours, when it was actually longer. Or he might have some kind of ailment like diabetes or something that would make eating food necessary to prevent collapsing. |
