City of Heroes

Out of the most gracious kindess of my heart,  I am making an offer for anyone interested in trying City of Heroes/Villains. Here is what I am offering:

If you decide that you would like to either try the game by trial or subscribing, I am willing to help you when you enter the world. I will usher you to my server and I will help you learn about the basics of the game and the important things to know. I will be as friendly as possible and try my best to help you enjoy your time with the MMO.

This website has a trial key offer on the front page that you can use. I also have a trial key that someone can use if necessary. One downside is that recently the team at CoH has decided to limit trial accounts in various aspects. There are limitations but they should not be too harsh on you.

I'll give you a little bit of info on the game in case you don't know much about it.

The game is City of Heroes/City of Villains. They both come together. You can play as superheroes and supervillains in an online world. The game is pay to play, $15 a month. There are 5 standard classes and 2 epic classes on heroes and villains. The level cap is 50. There are numerous zones and game events. The gameplay is very simple yet fun. The looting system is VERY great because of its ease. There is NO armor in the game, another large bonus. You don't have to worry about getting those +5 agility shoulder pads.  The "armor" system in this game is by slotting powers. Your powers have slots (up to a maximum of 6) You can slot these powers with various forms of buffs such as accuracy, damage, healing, confuse, etc. based on their design. There is a crafting system in the game.

The community at CoX is staggering. Everybody is nice and willing to help. We also have a great forum where players can mingle. The dev team is also great. The game probably has one of the best dev teams around. They also post on the forums and interact directly with the community, which is so rare these days.

One MAJOR unique aspect of the game is the character creation. You can literally spend hours customizing your own character. You can have wings, rocket boots, capes, etc. The customization is truly amazing.

Wait...You can get wings and the rocket boots from the get-go now? I remember having to wait for my vet. rewards. lol. I kind of miss coh/v. I quit before the rikti stuff. I might have to give it another try to see what i've missed in the last year.

About the trial restrictions...what's restricted?

YOu can only get level 14, can only get so much gold and some more things I cant remember

Why was my thread moved here? I made it in the LFGame section. I am almost positive the forum description of that section said you can suggest games to players and that's what I was doing. Hmm.

Really the OP is what this game is all about.  I met some of the nicest and coolest people in this game.  I suggest giving it an honest effort, even if it is quite out-done by other games.
