Looks like the console version will gain some noticable upgrades from the PC version "Game designer Jakob Stilinsky says that the console version (for PS3 and 360) will be a little slicker. It'll feature extensive use of motion-capture for the character animations, have better lighting and environmental effects, improved enemy AI and full achievement and trophy support." |

Don''t mock me my friend. It''s a condition of mental divergence. |
Not to mention that the combat system in the Witcher, I think, is just better suited for a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse. |

I lol'ed when you posted it would be superior too the PC version.
The pc version is almost 14gigs, i want to see how they are going to do that.
The witcher isnt that great though. |

Bullets - my only weakness! How did you know? |
Good for console users and people with weak PCs.
Personally, I'd definately prefer KB/Mouse controls. Specially considering they'd also need to create new a GUI, unless they want a mouse emulation of the analog stick(which is probably how it's going to be) And the improvements: Improved Enemy AI -> It's an RPG. They mostly just zerg you. Motion Capture for persons -> So they've made new animations for characters? I call bullshit. There's no money in that. Better lighting and enviromental effects, yeah that is very well possible. And you get achievements. Not really worth anything if you ask me. So as stated, it's a little slicker.... hardly superior imo. |

multiple dvds wouldnt do it, and xbox doesnt have blue ray. Also, consoles are naturally weaker tehn most top of the line pcs.
And most of all, anything done on the console will ultimatly be patched for the pc.
The pc version had the same motion capture effects, the enhanced edition expansion added the lighting effects so it sounds like the superior aspect will be achievements... |
