Lord of the Rings Online

First off, how much content for a level 1 is in the new expansion. From what i have read, Warden sounds like a good hybrid class. DPS and some Tanking. (I tanked a lot in wow, so im still kinda burned out on it... but i'd like to think i could fill a pretty good roll as a warden)

Also, i just upgraded my machine, from a 1gig ram, GeForce 6600 vid card to 2 gig ram and a XFX GeForce 9600 GSO Video Card - 768MB DDR2, PCI Express 2.0, Dual Link DVI, SLI Ready card.

Basically, one of my first complaints was prolly my old systems fault, and that was the lag and lack luster graphics on low settings.

How much of a jump is the detail on max settings, and would there be little to no lag (i still need to update my processor. 3.20ghz ).

Worth coming back?

 Zero new starter content in the expansion other than the 2 new classes.

If you upgrade your CPU you machine should run the game fine.  I run with everything almost maxed out.  I've put everything in to the lowest settings and I can honestly say that I would probably not play this game if that was my first impression of it out of the box.  Middle-earth can only be appreciated with all settings set to High...at a minimum, and DX10 enabled for sweet shadows that give the environment the rich feeling it has.

That being said, Moria is enormous.  I've only been to the first major quest hub inside and poked around, but I can't wait to start delving into the dephts of Moria.

Yes.  This game looks great.  All the awesome mechanics are still there, and with the addition of Legendary Weapons, this game is a must own for me.  As the previous poster stated, don't expect to find any real expansion content (excluding the 2 new classes) until lvl 46 +. 

First, ask yourself why you left.  If it was because of lag, and poor graphics due to your underpowered PC, then yes, I'd say go back and give it a fair trial.

But if you left for some of the reason I did, yet another level based, quest driven game too much like WOW, with no real end game goals or relevant player impact on the game world, probably best to stay away because they've added nothing since release that changes the game based on these criteria.

All a matter of what you are looking for from your game I suppose.

i would say it was a big reason... that and i never met anyone fun to play with.

the more i read about warden, the more i wish to try one. I wish they had a special coming back trial offer to try and get old members to come back.

Hmm, I thought I had received such an offer a couple of times in the past year or so, but probably not since the new expansion came out. Be patient, I'm sure they'll invite people to come back once again.
