Game got a major expansion today. What's everyone experience been ? Is it true that game unbalancing heal potions are only sold by the company and therefore you have to pay real money to compete in pvp ? |

It's always been that way forever. They sell a 250,000 hp thingy for real money. If you have any prayer of leveling at a decent rate or beating someone in pvp, this is how you do it. You equip it in a slot, then its stuck to you. You cannot remove it or take it in/out, like to use it for PvP but not for PvE. Whenever you take any kind of damage, this ticks off health even if its 10hps no matter what. They sell a mana one, same thing. |

I didn't say "health pots". (I think you need to try the decaf). I said the 250k healing items, I don't know why you don't know about those. They are widespread and everyone who played Perfect World knows exactly what they are. You cannot buy those from any apothecary, only the cash shop. At least thats how it was when I played to level 52 almost two years ago. Are you saying thats not the case now? The dinky little health pots you are talking about cost too much to buy, and they don't heal for crap. You can make your own but they cost too much in materials or you'll farm forever to get enough to play for any length of time with those. The 250k Hp trinket and 250k mana trinket are the only viable means to leveling without sitting there ALL night waiting for power and hps. (Again, unless you are a Werefox and even then, you need the hps one) They also don't drop like rain from the sky on monsters, as you appear to be suggesting. They are hit/miss on drops, more times miss. But you won't get enough to stockpile at any consistent and steady rate. Depending on these dinky vendor potions will have you sitting a great deal of time, wishing you were playing another game. |

He's not getting it because they're not called "healing items". They're called Charms. You got your gold, silver and bronze guardian charms which are the hp ones and the other are mana ones which I forget the real name, but they're still called charms anyway. |

Ah.. that's my fault then for the language barrier. It's been awhile since I played and I couldn't remember if they were called trinkets, charms, tokens, glyphs, or whatever. (too many MMOs) I think he still sorta knew, cause theres NO way someone would mistake the healing done by a pot versus the healing done by a 250k items bought in a cash shop. He probably was being more semantical there to deflect truthful criticism about the two. |
