Fudruckers (sp) makes a good burger but they are a bit pricey. But I also like BK, Checkers and Wendy's burgers as well. I use to have a roomie that never ate anyones burgers but his own. He was so afraid of getting food poisoning from meat that he use to cook his burgers until they turned in hockey pucks!

Not bad, but I think they make a better breakfast. It's really really tasty. Now thats' one thing definitely better than McDs.. they do a sucky breakfast.

Egg McMuffin... don't ever open one up and look inside of it.

Yes they are.

Because if you make your own at home or go to a real resteraunt that servers 100% grade A beef and fresh topings --- it will ALWAYS taste better than Mcdonalds.

I tend to think of mc d as confort food. However it has been a long time since i ate there or any buger place, I found i rather get the good angus beef ,buns and salad fixings from the grocry store and grill my own when in the mood for a hamburger,. The prices for the combos have gone up so much the only thing missing is the frys but the frys are just not as good as they use to be and to high in fat anyway......

Oh recently had some kansas steak burgers and for some reason still prefered the angus beef better i guess my taste buds were off

McDonalds sells so well because it's cheap and well-known. It has nothing to do with the quality of the food. If McDonalds were priced the same as a quality restaurant, noone would buy it.

Incidentally, this is where the WoW / fast-food analogy (a favourite jab by people that can't think for themselves) falls flat on its face; WoW is no cheaper than any other MMORPG. You could argue that WoW's popularity does not make it a good thing, and thats a fair statement to make, but its widely accepted that WoW is an extremely high-quality game.

Practically every game developer on the planet has admitted to enjoying WoW, and probably still is. You don't here of famous restaurant chefs eating every day at McDonalds do you? No, of course you don't. Bioware, Bethesda, Firaxis, id software, you know games better than these people? No you don't, shut up and play WoW and stop pretending you're somehow above it. You don't like WoW because it's popular and that is the only reason, anything else is you expecting something not part of the genre or your brain not functioning correctly.

Look at the competition... the games that are at least comparable to WoW.... exactly.... there are none. It's not a matter of opinion, it's fact. Stop living in denial.

The widespread derision of WoW on this site is misdirected and without any logic or reason behind it. At the very least you need better analogies, which will still probably be wrong, but at least they should be more relevant.
