Planetside

This game is my favorite FPS of all time, I played for quite a while, but left a couple months ago for the futuer mmorpgs like WoW and EQ2. I want to come back, I play EQ2 so I can just upgrade to the all access pass. But I have a few questions that I am curious about.

1. How is the population, 2 months ago it was perfectly fine for me.
2. Have the BFR's recked the game, I played my last week at BFR mayhem week, but that was MAYHEM, so im sure there isnt as many BFRs now.
3. Have there been any changes in the game after the BFR release? Any new weapons, nerfs, continents, etc.
4. What is the most populated server?

I will be playing TR, like usual I have a very good computer now, that I did not have when I played, so I will not lag at all im sure. Lag killed me on my old computer. Will be nice to play with over 6 fps

I think I am going to play again. I always liked infantry, and I realize that BFRs made them suck outdoors. But there is still close combat indoors. I played at BFR mayhem week, and I managed to hide from BFRs just fine, there is always trees and rocks to hide behind. Most likely I will have HA, and air calvary, so I can drop in on towers from ejecting from my reaver.

to tell ya the truth its gone to hell an back theres no more fun in it unless u can acctually get the ppl out of there BFR's all they do is camp outside the doors while maybe 5 ppl (on a good day)get inside the base and fight for an hour just to have the damn NC come up from behind and kill or take over ur ams then ur fuked untill u get support or thoise camping bfr's figure out that the ams is gone...........mainly u just lose the base to a differnt empire !!!! god it pisses me off!

BFR's pretty much run from infantry now. Someone with some jammers and a few deci's stands a good chance of taking one out with some skill. I've killed them both with inf and with a lightning. There are still bfr's, its part of the game now, but they are not much different then seeing a vanguard or any other tank, and easier to kill.

Trick is get behind and hit the sheild gen, then just follow him as he freaks out and takes off firing deci's on the way, jammer or 2 for good measure. They run more then fight now, in my experience. I even made one run once as an infiltrator, few boomers and a jammer to a stand still distance spam bfr does wonders

I came back with some of the changes, and have to say its better. I've seen a lot of old vetrans comming back to, some Good CR5's starting to come back. I've also seen more newbs then I have in a long time so more true new people are coming in.

Merit badges, first round, apparently went in so you can earn those too.

Game is different a bit, but better. Have been enjoying it.

Pop is still good.

BFR were nerfed so it's no worries anymore.
