it is the EXACT SAME LINK so you may want to check with anet b4 you do that.

Sir when you download the exe file from cloud front , you must put it in a folder and then run the launcher.

I know that i placed it in a seperate folder it fully downloaded to 100% then came up with a message saying error and to send it to arenanet.  clicked on details and it went into some garble about the DAT file.  So delete and start again no biggie

all i get is  502 bad gateway from thelink they sent me.

now its a 500 internal server error

No idea how they are doing the emails, however, if you have not recieved one by tomorrow morning I would go to http://support.guildwars2.com/ and try to see if you can get an answer. I wouldnt be too worried unless you havent hear anything by thursday though.

tried running admin mode too but made no difference.  Hopefully this time around it works at 13% already its downloading at 2.2MB/sec

Did you pre-PURCHASE or pre-ORDER? If you pre-ordered, as in you went to a retailer and put $5 down, then you are not in this weekend's beta. If you pre-purchased on April 10th, then you'll get an email with a link to a forum post on guildwars2.com which will contain a link to the game download.

I brought the game directly from arenaNet teh second I could in April 10th.

don't know if you deleted it yet but might want to try to run it as administrator first. could be that the folder it's in is set to read-only and needs to be writeable.

The only guaranteed way to get into this or any WBE is to pre-purchase the game. There will be other promotions as we get closer to launch, but they don't anticipate every having a totally open beta that allows everyone who wants to try the game a chance to try it.

they need to address why some people that pre purchased arent getting emails

so the link posted in these forums is the same as the link from arena net correct? hmm, so you shouldnt get an error message should you. mines not done yet just dont want to download it for nothing.

Check to see..you should have gotten an email from the company with you account name...hopefully you recall your password
