I canceled my account a while ago partly because I'm not fond of the game and partly because I am leery of getting stung with one of those sub charges that take place 5 days before the actual date 'to avoid your valuable downtime' as per the gaming company. (I have no knowledge of FC planning this but I've gotten stuck in that loop before so better safe than sorry)
One thing I haven't tried though is the PvP servers. i figured I'd give the game one more go on a PvP server and was wondering what was the best community (IE the least childish smack for legit questions and the best guilds). Any opinions? |

I play with a group of ex wow players and we all like pvp, but their ffa-pvp ruleset is not to our liking. All of us started on a pvp server initially, we found that ganking was beyond ridiculous, we constantly found large groups of upper level ganking roaming areas where we had to level. Now maybe this will change as the game matures, but I find that unlikely. As with most video games, the immature players gravatate to where they can most irrate other players. So have fun and hope you get on a better server than we did. We basically stopped playing the pvp server and moved to a pve server so we could get a feel for the game. It was no big deal to move, levelling is quite fast. |
