I think the point of providing feedback or discussing issues is multipurpose, it provides feedback on game issues and helps get consensis so people can loudly complain to funcom to strongly encourage them to fix issues.  It hits funcom somewhat in the pocket book as it provides new people with feedback on game issues that might cause them to pause at buying the game.  And of course it helps inform new people about the state and quality of the game.

For some people that play the game more quickly it also makes the game a better game for more casual people by again providing feedback and hopefully creating some urgency to fix the higher end part of the game before you have the misfortune to experience issues.

I love it considering ive seen most of your names in the vanguard forums at one time or another  doing the exact same thing and some of them more tmes than i care to. I think it looks good on, you cant take what you dish out  i could careless about AOC i dont care if its finished or buggy or even playable

Erh excuse me, what you say here makes it sound that i used to post bad things about VG on a regular basis, whereas i recall that i used to support the game. Please get your facts straight, and wipe that smile off your face.

From the long list of MMO's in your signature its quite obvious that you are very experinced  player and know everything that a MMO has to offer. Thus you are happy and satisfied with unfinished product like AOC. / sarcasm off.

Anyways, aren't you the one who defend every MMO that you play? why should anyone listen to you anyways? tomorrow you will swear alligence to some other MMO as soon as you are done with AOC.

As pointed out above i used to play VG, which is an excellent game, although for me the updates were coming to slow, so i left.

When i mean left i cancelled my sub and have really been back to that area of the forum since.

That is my point, if you dont like the game fine, just forget about it and move on.

Anyway yeah well i'm still enjoying AoC, shame with the lacking polish but we knew that not the whole cake was done yet, oh well.

Some haters trying to be cool school or Mr. amazing, more power to you! If you could actually make sense....  sadly not.

I get the whole same feeling on this forum just like when WoW and EQ2 was released, and i were just  a lurker on these forums.

I have tried D&D online, EQ2, VG and didn't like them, i dont periodically go to these forums and post about what i dont like, heck i dont even go to those forums.

 

 

After about ALL recent MMORPG launches (LOTRO was a welcome exception) I am FED UP with broken, halfbaken and bad games in the MMORPG genre.

Conan did it even WORSE in that they even choose a grafix system WAY OUT of proportion to use in MMORPG's.

They offered EVERYTHING to graphics: LOADING zones, copies of zones, in game (sooo boring) video NPC's, bad interface, not allowing more than perhaps 40 players per copy, NO developped end game, even a SOLO SHOW off game to lure the first time users etc ...

I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER CONAN at my doorstep that's why.

I WANT another MMORPG with all the fun I had in Wow, but I want it at least to have SOME polished quality apart from donwloading "realistic" but much TOO high resources.

And even "graphics" is a failure after a while because the items symbols: shoes in Conan = 4 pixels in your bag.

So IF WE DO NOT react : the next developper will be putting in even  MORE broken up graphics disasters for the "console" (sic) market.

That's WHY !!!!!!!

Try running EQ2 that is 4 years old on a new computer and you will have problems, same with VG.

Although last time i checked VG was getting smoother.
