You kill the Joe, you make some moe

Earlier this morning *2 in the afternoon* I had an unpleasant encounter with the biggest wasp ive ever seen. Took me over an hour to finally kill it with Raid, not to mention I did it completely nude cause it was in my room and all my clothes were in there with the damn beast.

I come home after work and wouldn't you know it theres another one of the damn things flying around in my room. Im not a fan of spraying Raid everywhere but I don't think i have other alternatives. I got my dad, who im proud to say single handedly took out a whole hive of em once, to take care of that one.

Now ive moved my comp to the kitchen *where it belongs imo* and im sleeping on the sofa tonight. Im a little worried theirs more of them in there and if thats the case should I hire say pest control or somthing?

I dont know much bout wasps cept that they have stingers and im wondering if I should be worried?

I mean do these things usually take up residence in groups? Should I expect a hive to be somewhere in the house?  Im not sure how they got in, we've checked all the windows and their all shut tight from what i could tell.

"And I Aint Ever Ran From A Ninja And I Damn Sho Aint Bout To Pick Today To Start Runnin"

You should have got a pokeball. You could have caught it. You need to check around your house, because wasp like to make tiny nest in cracks, shutters, etc.

If I remember my biology lessons correctly, most wasps fall into either social or solitary categories. It's possible you just encountered a mating pair, but if you see another wasp you've probably got a nearby nest on your hands. The first thing to do is try to figure out where they're coming in from. I'd also check your attic if you have one, they could have a nest up there. Have a look around the outside of your house as well. Typically you're looking for the tell-tale paper-looking nest, but wasp nests can vary. If you find a nest on the wall or something, grab a broom handle at destroy it when there are no wasps around. Unless you're allergic.

Oh, and if you encounter more wasps in your room, use a vacuum cleaner to suck it up. They work wonders on flying insect pests of all variaties.

If buying Marijuana supports terrorists, legalize it so we can buy American.

Next time you see one, follow it and see where it's coming in and out from.

Unless you are allergic to the sting, there's nothing to worry about.

Wasps only bite I think.  There are some things like smells wasps don't like.  Accessorize your window with them and they won't come in.

Love is benevolent evil. It is the sweet plague that devours reason, leaving euphoria in its place.

Strap on your man-pants, grab a rolled up newspaper, and go to town on the bitches! It's pretty easy to avoid a single bee, wasp, or hornet. Unless you're allergic, get over it, and claim back what is yours!

You have not lived until you''ve found something worth dying for.

i hate those suckers.. Had a nest inside the exterior part of the exhaust vent thats over the stove and somehow they were making it inside past the exhaust fan, took me forever to find that nest and get rid of it

Ask a question and you are stupid for 30 seconds, never ask and you are stupid for life.

This is my advice to you. PREPARE FOR WAR! Gotta show who is the man of the room!

Strip your clothes and once that wasp comes into your room and into striking distance, start punching it really hard. It will fight back, but you gotta be strong and keep on fighting. By now one of you will be winning, hopefully you will...start smacking it with your hand, once it falls on the ground start rolling over on top of it (with your clothes off still).

Hope my advice works
