what kind of game is this one? is this fps or third person, or just shoot by itself, is it like freelancer or eve? |

The economy and stuff of EvE, but, you are in the pilot's seat. You control the ship from inside the cockpit, either with traditional mouse/keyboard or, my personal favorite for a game like this: Joystick/Keyboard. Games like this are very skill based becasue you can't just click and shoot... you must aim. |

funny you say EVE and freelancer, because in most of the basic descriptions of this game I see "Its like a cross between EVE and Freelancer".
As long as it does the EVE part right, I'll love the freelancer part. |

Only grievance I have with this one so far is that it's fairly simplistic (no power rediversion and so on) with just armor and shield as your defences. Not enough things to manage in my opinion. Still, I think the best comparison is indeed freelancer.

If you want to get a feel for the physics of the gameplay, Go to Jumpgate and play the 14 day free trial. Jumpgate Evolution is a totally upgraded and revamped version of this, with more npc missions, etc. It is Jumpgate on steroids. |

jumpgate was out B4 eve or freelancer,agood while too and the flight is nothing like the poxy controls in freelancer thank god. if you want to see what JGE is going to be like combat/trading/mining/exploreing wise just go play jumpgate. its cheap enough and even has an offline simulator you can play around in to learnt he flight basics b4 you play online. |
