....has become quite unenjoyable. I am game player, not a forum player. The latest generation of PC gamer, as is most often represented here, is rude, often crass and doesn't know the difference between contructive criticism and flaming. People have made this site not about games we love, but about games we hate and that we want others to hate. This is destructive and against the intent of what a site like this should be. Because of  this and the lack of good policing by site moderators  MMORPG.com is nothing like what it once was. I'll leave you all to your petty trolling and sniping... I'd rather be playing a game or checking out a site with a more mature and fair base of users. Adios.

Well OnRPG is right next door, but I bet spending a week there would make us look like the best mmorpg forum out there. Well I don't know what to say about your problem, but nice knowing that you care.

I blame WoW. 

I tried to get one of my friends to come here again, but he looks at all the hate towards every single MMO, all the hate, flames and many other things and he left. He was signed up a long time ago, but once all the hate started coming in he said that ruined it for him and now goes to other sites.

I'm still here, but it does get annyoing to see every single MMO on this site get attacked....sure some do deserve it (like AoC and mostly because how Funcom runs their company and horrible support) but a lot don't.

And that isn't even the worst of it, if someone likes a certain game they are immediately called a "Fanboy"...someone dislikes a game they are immediately called a troll. 

And how many threads does there have to be about what console is better, what president is better and religion...I think we've covered every single thing about all those topics.

There is some good stuff, though...just have to wade through the piles of trash. Though, I still like coming here myself.

Just seems like  a lot of users here are burnt out on MMOs, think the next "big" one will fix the problem...but it won't.

Well, I will say that I will visit at least once a week to read a review or two, see what contests are going or if new games are announced. There still aree many people here who are fair and have my respect even if I do not agree with them. But generally their are to many whiners and complainers in the forums. I look at their profiles and see most of them are under the age of 25. It's a sad commentary on those generations. Some people of those generations that is. I just wanted to leave on a fair note and not generalize everyone here.
