Quite frankly I was dubious about their standing at E3, considering their recent announcements. It is more than fortunate things are turning out the way they are.

I'll risk sounding like a troll but... Did AoC win any awards? Just curious since i had a bad feeling about AoC from the first time i heard about it... and a good feeling about war from the first time i heard about it... and i was right about AoC and i would HATE to be wrong about war

Thats because honestly most people don t care as long as the game is better because of it. It s usually the minority flocking these boards whining just to be heard.

AoC beat out warhammer at every E3 during development and several high profile conventions over the past 2 years too.

Awards aren't everything as you can tell...

E3 typically is not where companies show off already released things. It is a vehicle for showing off, in a convention like setting, what different companies and devs have coming out soonish to the press and to retail people. Sometimes some recently released games will get a little bit of space but for the most part its the up and coming. So to win an award at E3 basically means that of the stuff shown in it's category it was better/more polished/what have you than the competition.
