World of Warcraft

Just a couple simple questions I want to ask about WoW.... I don't know what it is about this game. Although I get tired of it very quickly (usually within two months of resubbing is what I consider quick) I'll end up going into the same process with this game 6 months later... I've been in this process for two years now. I was hoping AoC would be able to drag me away from WoW but it was everything opposite of what it was hyped to be. And to be completely honest... after seeing everything so far shown with WAR... I doubt I would prefer it over WoW either (but it's still too early to decide). At this point I'm just putting my hopes up on Champions Online, Mortal, and a good amount of other MMOs releasing in 09... I'll possibly take a look at TCoSB as well. Aion has a slight possibility of success considering it's made by NCSoft but I fear it will be another asian grinder.

So maybe, with this new expansion coming out, I'll be able to find something to distract me for a little while, or in this case, at least a month or so. I don't know what it is about WoW but there is something really addictive about it. Maybe it's the ginormous world (After 2 years on and off, probably 4-6 months total, I've never been through all of it), or the distinctness of my characters (not the presets, but I love the different armors), or the appealing classes... or the fact that the game has little to no flaws from a technical standpoint (a trademark of Blizzard's games). The game is simply made by a good company.

So here are just a couple of simple questions about WotLK; will there be any new races included like BC (I loved the blood elf class)? What exactly is a "hero" class... do I have to have a character at max level to play it or something or is it max level to begin with? Is there a release date on this?

And also... although I'm sure there's a couple of threads about this already... are any of you guys considering returning to WoW with this expansion like myself?

I have more simple questions but I can't remember them all. I'll edit this later once I remember.

The Death Knight can only be created on an account that already has a level 55 or higher character. The Death Knight itself, when created, begins at level 55. I'm not sure why they did it this way. As far as I know, there will be no new races in the expansion, just the Death Knight.

As for people returning, I'm sure we'll see a veritable explosion of resubscribers when the expansion hits the shelves.
