The only 3 major downfalls I see in the game is: 1) Very very linear. Leaves hardly any room for casual wander. 2) The mercenaries you're able to hire totally takes the MMO out of this RPG. 3) You look like your next door neighbor's neighbor's neighbor's neighbor.
So really, if you can live with those three flaws, you're pretty much going to have a blast because there's a lot to do in there, and you're always upgrading your gear. Much to "work up to" in that game =) Vs. F2P games I give it an 8.5/10 Vs. all games, I give it a 6.5/10 |

Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out. |
Well you can always wander off on your own and not go quest to quest and explore. I was lvl 13 and was exploreing parts of Europe and got killed by a lvl 55 mob haha. The mercs are more of a banancing act and compleation to your 'hero'. You can group with up to two other people for a max of 27 mercs and hereos on your side. and the monsters tend to help each other at higher lvls making it that you have to run or chance it, or up yoru survival rating with a party member. Now a lot of people been asking about the pvp in the game. Its stratagy, you hero goes down your team scatters and its battle over. so you have to have stratagy to keep your guy up. I dont mind looking like my neighbor like you said, but there is a lot to work towards so you seem to have differnt armor pieces that other people cause of the randomness of equip boxes. and for a game to be in closed beta with this few of bugs is amazing. |

Aye, while the flaws I stated were minimal in number compared to many many other games (and I use the term "minimal" loosely), this game has a lot of substance and holding power as a f2p. I find myself easily coming back to play since there's a constant upgrade system, and for it to be ONLY in CB, it already feels like a finished product to me. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have mercs to aid you, but I'd say 8 others is too many per player. I would lower it so more players and their mercs can fit on the field. Also, taking out a lot of the "guidence" roads and cutting out the hill obstruction would make the game seem far more vast and Vanguard-like. Simple solutions that can make a world of diff. +1 my friend |

while all the characters may look alike...the real uniqueness is your battle setup...not many people are going to have the same 9 characters all lined up in the same fashion with the same bonus stats and same skills
